After giving back-to-back hits in the form of Raanjhanaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Sonam Kapoor has become choosy when it comes to films, and is taking time before giving nod to any director. As of now she is busy preparing herself for Khubsoorat remake.With the Khubsoorat remake, which stars Sonam Kapoor reprising the role of Rekha, the actress is going to come out of all the boundaries, as she will be seen donning a bikini in the film. Even though the film would be a remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1980 classic by same name, it is going to be a modern version. We saw Rekha don sarees and flaunted pigtails back then, the remake will see Sonam in a glamorous avatar.Now we know that Sonam has time and again said that she is looking forward to don a bikini in her film, it is learnt that it will happen with Khubsoorat remake, where Sonam will get into the beach wear. Produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor, Khubsoorat will be a contemporary take on the subject.The actress is at present, busy working out to attain a bikini body. Apart from following a strict diet, she is also frequent in the gym, and besides weight training also doing Pilates. "Sonam's trainer has charted out a unique regime, she eats small portions every two hours and she has been told not to consume any carbohydrates after lunch. Sonam wants to approach this in a healthy way. So, she is not starving herself but meticulously eating right to get the perfect swimsuit figure," said one of Sonam's friends.The remake would be shot in Rajasthan, and is expected to hit theatres later next year.

To which, Mr. India actor smilingly replies that he tries to live by his heart and keep on smiling to one and all. But, above to that he says he is a good lover, who loves to spread love and collects the same from family and friends that directly persuade his charm.   The actor, recently in an interview explained that however hectic work schedules are, he has never deprived himself of family time. “The actor is particularly unable to spend time with his spouse, Sunita Kapoor. He therefore makes it a point to have the first meal of the day, breakfast, with his beloved wife, every morning, even after 30 years of married life,” sources explained.How romantic it is! That’s what Anil makes to perform lively in front of camera. The actor is currently busy promoting his TV series 24 that will mark Anil Kapoor’s debut on television. The show is a Hindi adaption of American series with same name. Written by Rensil D'Silva and Bhavani Iyer, directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Anil Kapoor Films, it will premiere on the Viacom co-owned Colors channel on 4th October 2013.

In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

The leading ladies of his movie Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta are having tough times with each other. Esha and Bips were seen together for the first time in the movie Raaz 3, wherein they were seen as sisters who weren’t so fond of each other, and this is happening in the real life too. The actresses are again shooting together in London for Sajid Khan’s next venture and have indulged into a cold war.A source said, “Bipasha feels that she is a much senior actress as opposed to Esha Gupta who is yet to establish herself in the industry. Also, Sajid's fondness for Esha is making Bipasha go green.”The source also says that the two actresses have very different roles, but Sajid is battling with this catfight. The source further added, “Bipasha and Esha behave as if they are the best of friends in front of others but cannot stop bickering about each other to their respective staff.”When the director Sajid was asked about his catfight, he said, “They haven't shot a single scene together. Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, last seen in Satyagraha alongside Amitabh Bachchan and others, says he wants to reside in Delhi when he gets free from Mumbai or when he will achieve a certain position in his career. He also says that he has a special connection from Delhi as his family and friends are living in the capital.Manoj Bajpayee recently visited Delhi for a film’s shooting there he shared his desire to shift to Delhi. “Dilli se kaafi judi hui hain. Yahaan kaafi dost rehte hain, aur family bhi yahin hai. I am thinking of shifting to Delhi,” said the actor.Does it mean he’ll leave Mumbai soon? When sources asked the same that when he will be making the move, he said, “When I feel that I have reached a certain level in my career and my directors and producers will not mind calling me from Delhi to Mumbai, I will shift here. The thought of shifting to Delhi always comes to my mind. It is a thought that comes to mind almost daily. I feel that working from Delhi will make life easier for me.”Meanwhile Manoj is signed to do the voiceovers for the upcoming Mahabharat animated 3D mythological drama. He will dub for Yudishtir’s character in the animated story.

From the moment Anil Kapoor bought the Indian Version official rights of the famous American T.V Series 24, The Trade, Press, Media and Viewers started drawing certain comparisons. Some started comparing Anil Kapoor with Keifer Sutherland, while others started analyzing Indian Viewer's acceptance towards the show. Anil Kapoor's '24' premiered its first episode tonight at 10 pm on Colors. It also replaced the popular comedy show, Comedy Nights With Kapil.So how is the show? Will it shatter all Daily Soap records with its TRP? Will 24 bring a new revolution in the history of Indian Television? Can 24 become a platform where a T.V watching viewer starts accepting big stars on small screen (On a Serial Format, of course and not in some Game or Reality based shows)?The serial's first episode starts with an explanation from its protagonist Jai Singh Rathod (Anil Kapoor) where he explains how India has faced some major terrorist attacks and for which Indian Government has formed ATU (Anti-Terrorist Unit) to protect our country from any such future damages. Jai Singh Rathod is the head of this ATU.Jai Singh Rathod is celebrating his wife Trisha Rathod's (Tisca Chopra) birthday along with his daughter Kiran (Sapna Pabbi). Jai get's a call from Nikita Rai (Mandira Bedi) who is a government agent at ATU. The minute Jai reaches the ATU Wing, He is informed about a serious threat on PoliticianAditya Singhania (Neil Bhoopalam) who is a Prime-Ministerial candidate and a youth icon. Aditya Singhania's life is in danger. Jai (While his way to ATU) get's a call from Wasim Khan (Anupam Kher) who is a Research and Analysis wing (RAW) officer informing about a "Rat" in ATU wing.Irritated by his father's behavior, Kiran goes out to party with her friends without informing her mother. The result is she goes missing.Aditya Singhania is ready to take his oath the next day with a prepared speech by his Mother (Anita Raj). But all hell breaks loose when he gets an immediate call from a T.V Channel head (Suchitra Pillai) who informs him about some of his dark crime which he committed 12 years back.A contract Killer is on his way from Thailand but killed in the Flight itself by another Femme Fatale. The Indian adaptation of '24', retains all the elements of the international series, the real-time, pulse-pounding, fast-paced format with split screens and complex interweaving storylines, with 24 episodes capturing 24 hours.Director Abhinay Deo does full justice with his dedicated direction along with tight screenplay by writers Rensil D'Silva and Milan Milaap Zaveri. This one does not at all looks like a T.V Series but it looks like a One Hour feature film on TV. Full marks to the Direction, Writing and Production team for creating a wonderful extravaganza on small screen. Performance wise, The show totally belongs to the one and only Anil Kapoor who makes you sit tight without touching your Remote Control buttons with his charm and persona. Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer might have been good there, but here Anil Kapoor is extra-ordinarily amazing as Jai Singh Rathod. Tisca Chopra, Anupam Kher, Mandira Bedi are superb in their respective parts. Neil Bhoopalam is just outstanding as Aditya Singhania and trust me, this first season belongs to him after Jai Singh Rathod. We are yet to see Shabana Azmi, But it was nice to see Anita Raj in a mind blowing role after a long time. Special mention to the actress who played Femme Fatale, The one who killed the contract killer and jumps from the flight. She hardly had 10 minutes in the First Episode, but she made her presence felt real strong.It is reported, some major channels initially refused to buy the idea of Indian Version of 24, At least not until Colors swooped in. I am very much sure those channels now regret it. I really have no clue or will not lay a challenge if 24 beats other Thrillers running strongly on other TV Channels with huge TRP's, But 24 will be the most exciting, The most talked about and the most interesting TV Mini Series India has ever produced.Prepare yourself on every Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm for a Thrilling roller coaster ride of 24 as this one is most Powerful, Gripping and an Honest show you will ever come across.

These days, she is flooded with offered coming her way from each corner of Tinseltown. Recently, she was assigned to be the showstopper at a fashion show in Delhi. However, due to her weak healthy, as per her spokesperson, the event got postponed from December 4 to December 6 at the last hour. Not only, had the organizer to bear the financial load, but also criticism. Fashion designer Nitya Bajaj, who helmed the event, also confirmed the report. Her manager slated the event as per Elli’s dates. All was well till Nitya was informed, on the day of the event, that Elli was unwell and wouldn't be available. “The venue was booked, the press releases had been sent out. Nitya managed to push the show forward to December 6, but since the venue had to be re-booked, it doubled the cost of the show,” informed the source, adding that Elli didn't even inform Nitya in person about the change of plans. Nitya said, “Yes, because of Elli's health problems, I had to shift the show date and have suffered losses due to that.” However, a friend of Elli, who stood up for her informed sources that they sent message to organizers that she was unwell on December 3. “Without her consent, they committed to December 6th and an ill Elli flew to Delhi and fulfilled her commitment,” he said.Elli also added, “I attended the show and did whatever was asked of me despite my ill health.”

It is for the first time when Dabangg star took the brush in hand and figured out a painting for a film. Till then, we got to know about his skills only from his close friends who received his works of art as gifts in the past.It is said that Salman was enthusiastic to have his fans on his flagship poster, so thousands of faces have been merged to make a close up shot of him. “Salman, along with brother Sohail Khan (who is directing the film as well as producing it along with Sunil Lulla) were keen to have something special as the first imagery of the film, as they are coming together after a long time,” informed sources.Produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, Jai Ho is coming out in theatres on January 24.
