Superstar Aamir Khan has always been known as peace lover, and the latest it is learnt that the Dhoom3 actor has got himself a new nest.He has bought an apartment at Carter Road in Bandra. He has been staying in this locality on rent for last few months, as the renovation work is going on at his home in Marina Apartments at Pali Hill. After staying in a Carter Road flat for few months, Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao developed immense liking for the place.The flat is sea-facing, is 5,000 square feet and spread over two floors. Hence, Aamir tried to buy the entire building where his Pali Hill flat is situated. However, disappointment came his way as the residents of other flats were not ready to sell their flats, even though Aamir offered the handsome deal of Rs 80,000 per sqft to move out. However, the flat owners declined the offer.Hence, the chap was left with no option but to buy another apartment in Carter Road. He is hoping that the new place turns out to be extremely luck for him and his family!Aamir’s upcoming film is Dhoom3, and we hope it break all the previous records at the box-office!

DAR Motion Pictures has come up with the most versatile production house, and its latest release The Lunchbox, in collaboration with UTV and Dharma Productions did good business at the box-office.Its upcoming projects are Mickey Virus, Ugly, etc. Arun Rangachari from the production house says "Our content strategy is genre and demographic agnostic, and is driven by a core philosophy to bring high-quality content to a cross-section of Indian audiences. Backed by best-of-class talent, each of our films this year belongs to a different genre and is focused on a distinctive audience segment."The production house aims to invest in different genres of films. "We are currently finalizing our slate of films for 2014, which again will be equally eclectic in terms of genres, themes, narratives, budgets and casting, with high-quality content being at the core," says Vivek Rangachari from the production house.Director Ritesh Batra says, "I am very excited to be a part of DAR family with The Lunchbox. As a production house they give creative freedom and support to their directors."Manish Paul, who plays the main lead in Mickey Virus, said, "After my experience of working with them on 'Mickey Virus', I can say that that they know how to identify and nurture creative talent."We hope they keep on attain success!

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu fame director Shakun Batra’s next would be based on the human relationships. His last film was made under Karan Johar’s production banner Dharma Productions, and this will also be produced under the same banner. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu starred Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.At present he is busy with the pre-production stage of the movie. Speaking to the sources, he said, "My next film deals with human relationships... it is a drama. I am yet to lock my script. I will show the draft to Karan and then we will take things ahead. By next month I will be able to give some details, including the star cast."You may know that with his debut directorial, he introduced the unusual pairing of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, which would be on-screen again with Gori Tere Pyaar mein, again produced by Karan, and directed by I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who had undergone a brain surgery for the removal of a clot in July this year, heads to an unrevealed location abroad for his medical treatment. He is reportedly been suffering bouts of headache and will undergo through the medical check-up to his surgery. Earlier, his brain operation was held at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.     His director father Rakesh Roshan also confirmed his travel plan. He said on Friday, “Hrithik is leaving on Saturday. He will be going with a friend.” When asked if Hrithik would be accompanied by his parents, Rakesh Roshan said, “We'll join him if there is a need for us to do so.” Does it mean the films, Hrithik was working on has been put on hold until he will not be done with the treatment? Sources said Hrithik's next project Shuddhi, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra, has been postponed to July 2014.Sources said, “Shuddhi is a story of reincarnation. Films about rebirth are always tricky to pull off. The script of Shuddhi needs more work. Hrithik's health is not the issue here, the script needs to be polished.” Hrithik Roshan has been roped in opposite Kareena Kapoor in Shuddhi.Hrithik was last seen in Rakesh Roshan’s directorial Krrish 3 that minted huge money at box-office. Adult comedy Grand Masti hits the bull’s eye and is getting success at box-office. Starring awesome threesome Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani, the film earned Rs 26 crore in just two days. Directed by Indra Kumar and written by Milap Zaveri, it has earned blunt criticism from critics for innuendos and suggestive leery double-meaning dialogues. It was made in a budget of 35 crore.

Last year on his birthday, Kamal Haasan released the trailer of Vishwaroopam in Auro 3D surround sound, and this year, it is expected that he is planning to treat his fans by releasing Vishwaroopam 2 trailer on his birthday, November 7."He has been thinking about releasing the trailer of the sequel on his birthday. It was supposed to be released earlier, but there was some more editing to be made. He is yet to confirm if he will indeed release it on his birthday," a source from the film's unit said. For those unaware, the second installment of Vishwaroopam is also a Tamil-Hindi bilingual spy-thriller, which is written and directed by Kamal Haasan, who also plays the role of Major Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri. It also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Shekhar Kapur and Andrea Jeremiah, and has been mostly shot in India. In the movie, yesteryears actress Waheeda Rehman will be seen playing Kamal's mother. The film has been produced by Venu Ravichandran. You must know that earlier this year, when Vishwaroopam released, it faced several setbacks, and despite that it went on to mint Rs.100 crore at the box-office.We hope Haasan attains success with second installment as well!

B-town actress Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly the most successful actress in the film industry at the moment, and she has successfully scored a hattrick this year, giving back-to-back hits with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and most recently Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.Even though her film Race 2 was also a blockbuster, but it didn’t have her as the solo actress, while in the other three hits films, she plays the lead actress. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is bagging appreciations for his work in Krrish 3, which has already crossed 200- crore at the box-office, is very happy with the reception the film has garnered. He is also very happy that his father and veteran actor Suresh Oberoi praised his work."My father told me, 'I am very proud of you for being so brave. Being a hero, you accepted the role of a super villain and that too opposite a superhero like Krrish, a favourite in India'," the 37-year-old said in Mumbai on Friday (November 8, 2013) at a special screening of Krrish 3 for children.For those unaware, his father was enthralled with the fact that despite being in negative role, he has performed very well with his face and fingers. In the film, it was Hrithik Roshan, who played the superhero and was seen jumping from buildings and doing all kinds of stunts, while Vivek, as Kaal, was most of the time did his act sitting on the wheel chair. And Suresh praised Vivek for the same.And this, obviously made Vivek very happy. Film industry’s well-known director Krishna Shah has recently died on October 13. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who had worked with the filmmaker in film Shalimar, says he was a warm and hospitable man, who loved cinema and was always excited about the new projects.The 61-year-old actress about her coordinal terms with Krishna Shah said, “I met Krishna Shah for the last time about eight to nine months ago at his home in Juhu where he had a get-together for close friends. He was his usual friendly effusive self, looking after all his guests personally, making sure everyone was comfortable. Krishna Shah was a very warm and hospitable man. I had great fun shooting Shalimar with him. My god that was 35 years ago, it seems like yesterday.”She added that Shalimar was made simultaneously in Hindi and English and with international stars of the calibre of Rex Harrison and Gina Lolobrigida. “Off course, Gina later backed out, and we had Sylvia Miles instead. In fact, the film created a whole lot news and speculation even before we began shooting. I remember we were in Bangalore for the shooting in two languages English and Hindi. Dharamji (her co-star Dharmendra) and I were burning the midnight oil. When we were not shooting, he was with his English tutor brushing up his English dialogues, and I was with my Hindi tutor improving my Hindi,” Zeenat recalled.Zeenat added that Krishna was caring person who always made sure all of us were comfortable. “He loved cinema. I remember once when we met, he spent considerable time speaking of my cameo in Bhopal Express. He would always be excited about the next film that he was doing, and then the one after that... He would discuss the movies he wanted me to be in.”The film Shalimar might not have worked at the box office, but the songs by RD Burman play on to this day.
