This website allows the user to create their own comics. I think it would be really fun and definitely different to incorporate this tool into the classroom, perhaps by creating a comic in German and having students discuss it, or I can ask them questions about it. Or, they can create their own comic to show what they have learned. It's fun, creative and different.
This is a really cool site that I might just use for fun. You can read stories, but also create books/stories online, using pics and all kinds of other applications. It would be a great way to have students either assessed on material, as a project, or to give a presentation to the class in a fun, different way.
This website offers some fun acitivies and visual aids to include in the lesson for a german class. I could either use things from the website or build ideas of my own by just taking a look.
This site could be used as an extra help for students. There are many different types of games such as jeopardy and basketball to help students have fun while still working on math problems. Each section of games deal with certain concepts covered in the classroom.
Great website with free games for every language. I love the idea of having children learn a foreign language through games that are fun nd teach them something.
This is a math website helpful to any middle grades educator who is teaching the 6th grade. The site has interactive quizzes, activities, explanation, math dictionary, and many other math related things.
This is an interesting site that allows users to create their own stories, using different images and info from the web. A teacher could use this to create a video or story relevant to the topic being studied in the classroom. That way, the teacher would visually engage the students and know that they can relate to the characters or stories that he/she created, allowing for a more exciting and fun classroom environment.
This site offers a wide variety of science experiments, projects, and links to supplement the material of your science classroom. From building a solar system to making insect identity cards... this site has it all.
This is a neat website because it allows students and teachers to communicate and build and develope ideas virtually. It is fun because students and teachers can build games that apply to their curriculum and students can help in that process without wasting classroom time.
Really neat site that shows videos that are relevant to teaching.
There is a wide variety of what kinds of videos they show. There is math, science, etc.
You tube for teachers! Here you will find videos posted by teachers to aid in their instruction. Some stuff is really good, others not so much, but as with anything on the net you have to spend some time browsing. Great resource if you are not inclined to do your own video!
Mainly used in math classes as I've seen so far, but a great tool to be used in the classroom. if you ever have a chance to try on out, do it! It's fun and the kids seem to pay attention better when using it.
