This is a great source, I believe. Teachers can use this as a on-going project throughout the semester to catalog the work of their students throughout the year. There are several ideas I can come up with to how this would be useful: 1. In a math classroom, students can catalog the important knowledge they aquire and would like to remember after the year is complete. Throughout the semester, students create pages/files to be uploaded to their e-book, or go in and manually add information that they find important in their lessons. They can use their e-books as a source of reference throughout the year, and in future years. As a teacher, you can also use this source to upload important assignments to the reference, so students can reflect back on them at a later date. 2. Science teachers can use this to create a class-create book covering the information that they have covered in class, as well as to document research students have come across on their own. This could be compiled of student assignments/projects/research/etc that students complete through their unit. And then the teacher can publish the e-book allowing students to have access to their work. This is a great resource because it motivates students to do better, knowing that their work is available for view by not only the teachers, but their peers, and others online.

A site that is in collaboration with the National Science Teachers Association. A great way to get students involved in the classroom using forensics to solve cases.This website provides lessons for the teachers as well as the activity sheets for students and labs to be completed in the ordinary classroom. Very creative source to enhance students learning experience in the science classroom (for all grades)

National Council of Teachers of Mathematics: Middle School Resources. Provides focal points, math problems, student activity sheets, weekly problems, tips for teachers, and lessons and activities. This is a great source for Middle Grades Mathematics Teachers (or any level Mathematics teachers.). It can be used to find supplemental instruction such as activity sheets, daily problems and tips on different issues with your students.

BetterLesson is a social networking site for teachers to share lesson plans online. This would be a great source to use as a teacher to get Lesson plan ideas, Lesson Plans, and share your own Lesson Plans with others.

This is a great source for teachers to use whether middle school, high school, or college level. This could be used for group assignments or individual assignments. Teachers can send out assignments via Live Writer to students. And students can submit assigments via Live Writer as well. This takes out the extra step of sending it either as an e-mail, or having to print the assignment all together. A great way to go green, and move away from printing. It is also a great way to integrate technology into the everyday classroom. This tool can also be used by teachers when assigning group assignments. Similar to our 6 facets assignment with Google Docs, student can share a document with the others in their group. Once they have collaboratively worked together to complete the assignment, they may then share it with the teacher to turn it in.

An online Party Planning Website. Basic functions are to plan and send out invitations, etc. This could be a great source for teachers. This could be used to plan a school function, event, field trip, class project, group meetings, club meetings, fundraisers, rallys, parent nights, etc.

This website is a great source for teachers. You can get lesson plans and activities for your classroom. You can also sign up for local workshops in your area. This website has resources for students, teachers and the classroom.

As we get close to become professionals it is always smart to be a member of these types of organizations. Great resource from a trusted source. 

This is a great source for teachers. I have seen this used in Social Studies classrooms. It is a great way for teachers to integrate social studies with language arts and technology. This source allows you and students to create comic strips which can be compiled and printed into a comic book. Students can individually create a comic strop which portrays what they have learned about particular cultures during their studies in class.

This is a great source for science teachers. It is a way to provide students with a glimpse at the lives of modern day scientists. There is a tab for teachers which provides tips for teachers (lesson plans, 5 minute tasks to do in class, project ideas, homework assignments), web resources, video clips, etc.

An online store for Carson-Dellosa Publishing. They have an assortment of books and other materials available for teachers and parents. Subject areas have materials listed by elementary and middle school grade level. A source for finding supplemental materials to use in class and help in teaching.

This is a cool site because it is kind of a portal to many other unique language sites, providing sources and ideas for classroom settings.

A website to use when teaching students Geography. A great interactive source for students to use when studying geography. Also provides teachers with lesson plans and activities related to different areas of geography.

This site provides strategies, resources, and activities for science teachers.

A free digital library associated with PBS provides teachers with downloadable video & audio clips that are aligned with education standards. Scientific topics include earth science, geography, life science, etc.

A great resource for interactive videos, clips, etc to use in your classes and powerpoints and lessons.

This is a site that shows a software you can have at your school. It engages the 21st century learners. You do have to call them to get it for your school, but it looks like a great source.

You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends." This would be a great classroom activity as well as a unique supplement to any lesson plan!
