This article talks about a mobile app that is available on iOS and Android for Major League Baseball Players to help arrange contracts, look into profits and deal with the business side of their careers while on the go. By giving players devices to arrange better contracts or research notoriety administration on online networking, the MLBPA is trusting the application will make the business side of players' professions more transparent. This is great for baseball players because they can control their careers on their phones, and don't have to worry much about scams in their contracts. This app also shows the new evolution of careers and jobs, and how everything is becoming technology based.

As many of you know smart phones are all the rage today. But I really don't think that anyone really stops to think.... how are these devices produced? Well in September of this year one app developer tried to get this out to the world. This developer created an app entitled "Phone Story." This application shows the negative aspects and the abuse and hard labour many of the workers must go through, which many times ends dramatically. 

So, Facebook has recently lost some followers, in case no one has heard. Today, Facebook announced the launch of another new feature: something called Subscriptions. It's actually pretty basic. You'll notice that some users will have a button that says "Subscribe." If you press that button, you will begin to see the user's updates in your News Feed, like tthey would if you were their Facebook Friend. However, the people you subscribe to don't approve your request, and there's no limit as to how many people can subscribe to a user. It is very much like Twitter and Google+, not to mention a stronger reboot of a feature called Pages, which has been up and running for a while. The plus side: you can choose what is shown publicly, and what is shown only to friends. Interesting to see how users take to this.

Ah, Facebook. It changes so much.  don't even have Facebook and I hear about this. Needless to say, many people have been left angry and disgruntled by the world's leading social networking site, and some say the Facebook iPad app came "too little, too late." You may think cellphones are harmless, but think again. Cellphones do emit radio frequency energy. The National Cancer Institute explains points on how to avoid this. You could use a hands-free kit and don't spend a long period of time on your phone near your head. This is especially for the people who spend a long time talking to someone on the phone. This has no link between having a cellphone and tumours in the brain or nervous system. Therefore, people who own phones should not take a long time when talking to somebody and when driving, use a bluetooth or put your phone on speaker. 

With Apple rich, they don't need to spend their money on new inventions for the Apple store to sell. If you compare Apple to Google and Microsoft you can tell that Google and Microsoft work their butts off spending more money to think of ideas on what to invent. While they're thinking and overworking their minds, Apple is increasing in stocks and money. 

Many people have a smartphone, and we all know how dangerous carrying one can be. It's kind of like carrying glass - it can break at any time. Original equipment warranties DO NOT usually cover phone repairs if it is broken, or has water damage. So, some look to third-party device warranty companies. SquareTrade is a company like such, and it gives insurance for what Apple and other OEMs don't cover. Thought it might feel like a scam to you, it's probably worth the money, to protect your phone. phone companies are great for giving you phones, just not for fixing them. So, what other option do we have?

The age of robots is coming near. Japan's Defense Ministry creates a ball shaped drone that can fly vertically and horizontally. It can also fly through narrow spaces. It goes at a max speed of 60km/h. If you throw a rock at it, don't think it will stop flying or go off balance because it won't thanks to three gyro sensors in its body. It even rolls on ground too. It only costed about $1400 US dollars in total because it was made from SPARE PARTS.

We all want the bets seat on a plane, especially if it's a long flight. With the new iPhone app called "Jets," you can find the best seat available all from your iPhone. It tells you the best seats on your flight, and the seats are color-coded: blue for standard, green is good, yellow is okay, and red is atrocious. It will enlighten you on qualities such as which seats have extra leg room (score) and the ones that don't recline (toss it). Very useful in today's world, we could all use the extra help when preparing for a flight, and it makes flying somewhere that much easier for you.

Adobe flash turns out to be a easy to get hacked file. There are ways to access  your microphone or webcam without proper prevention. Adobe has updated their software and it should be prevented.

Why isn't apple releasing an 7 inch iPad. They say its just isn't apples way. They don't want to change the price just because its a smaller iPad so they rather keep their iPad stay the same size as it is.

Lytro came out with a new camera which is 4.4 inches long and 8 oz in length, it has a touch screen, and 8x zoom. there is only 2 buttons on it, shutter and power. it also comes with 8 and 16GB, so it can hold a LOT of pictures. To me, I really don't care for this camera, yea its convenient,, but I don't like to take pictures of everything i see, plus, it's also $400, which is unbelievable. This may appear to be an awesome gadget to some, but to me , it's just not worth it, it's also a cube like kaleidoscope type thing, it's just plain strange.

It's kind of like browsing through a REAL bookstore. This is very practical for any and all avid readers, and can apply to almost anyone - you don't have to fill up the thousands of spaces immediately to love it.

We all forget to take our medicine every once in a while. But say goodbye to that daily woe with the new RxmindMe app. This app will remind you every time you told it you have pills to take. It also tracks prescriptions, store information about your doctor and pharmacy, and access to the FDA Drug Database so any and all users can know all about what they're actually taking. It also lets you take pictures of the pills, so you don't get confused with pills that look similar. This is a small step forward in the world of humans and technology, and it shows how our world and the world of technology grow ever closer, as it is used to help us in our every day lives.

Now Mortal Kombat was one of my favorite games since I played Mortal Kombat 1, yea I was around 5 when i was playing it with my bro, don't ask why I played it or how I still remember. But this is some stupid shit that I just read. So according to Wired, Mortal Kombat showed that we might have to pay for online in the future. Like Xbox Live wasn't enough.

Now when a Video Game is released, there is always DLC (Downloadable Content) to be released shortly after, but almost 50% of gamer's don't want to buy them, and the top reason is Security. And this tells why, according to Wired but personally I think that 1. That people are scared to buy anything online due to a recent oopsie when PSN got hacked, plus according to Inside Gaming at Machinima.com is that Xbox live got hacked two. And 2 is why wont they just go to a store and buy a points card at a store, they cant be THAT lazy...right?

As an eReader owner, I find this very interesting. On an eReader, you can highlight sections of a passage in an eBook and it will save it for future reference. Now, Findings, a social corporation, has turned into "an online destination where readers can collect, share, discuss, and discover such highlights from eBooks and web texts," which basically means that you can now share your highlights with the world on Findings. Not very impressive, I know, but for an eReader owner, it is useful. You can look up someone else's saved passages from a book you don't even own, so there's a way this technology can help you out in this world - save a couple dollars.

Netflix has lost over 800,000 users after announcing a 60%price hike, and the numbers keep growing. Never fear, though, because there are alternatives to Netflix that are even better! Most of them don't even require you to sign up to get a free trial, and they truly are good. if you still want a Netflix-like service without the actual Netflix part, think about trying the six sites in the article. A sucker punch to Netflix, this is.

Cameras are so annoying. Like, you have to HOLD them to take a picture! Honestly. As you've no doubt thought at least once before in your life, while taking a picture, "can I just throw the camera?" Well, apparently the people from this company have, and so created a camera that you can throw that takes pictures, and have thus christened it, the "Throwable Panoramic Ball Camera." Suitable name. This camera can allegedly take 360-degree panoramic photos, simply by throwing it up into the air, which is probably where they got its name from. You throw the camera directly into the air, and when it reaches the apex, all 36 cameras automatically take a picture. Using a specific computer program, these pictures are digitally stitched together, and you are able to navigate your own way through the 360-degree picture. Watch the video, and you'll see that the results are very impressive. The drawbacks? The ball cannot spin when it is thrown up into the air, and don't even THINK about dropping it, because despite the foam padding, it will be ruined if it drops. Maybe you should bring a catcher's mitt on your trip. And it's HUGE. Like, soccer ball huge. Where on Earth are you going to put this thing, anyways? Certainly not in a purse or a pocket. Innovative, and a step forward from the old-fashioned cameras everyone still uses today, and yet very impractical.
