The iWatch, Apple's much speculated piece of future wearable tech, is becoming more viable daily as Apple hires more tech experts with in backgrounds in medical technology. This lends it self to speculation that the iWatch will not only be wearable tech, but also wearable tech with medical uses. Among those hired are Marcelo Malini Lamego, a research and development expert who in the past has developed another piece of wearable medical tech. This in combination with the hiring of algorithm and biosensor developer Nima Ferdosi strongly point to the iWatch being more fact than fiction. Michael O'Reilly is another recent acquisition by Apple, this time a Chief Medical Officer at Masimo medical. This is especially strange because Mr. O'Reilly has a background in medicine, not technology. This, taken into account with Apple's latest grab at wearable medical technology developers suggests that the iWatch may not be far off, and it may be the future of at home medicine.

For my bookmark on legal issues I found an article on the newest court issue where Apple wants Samsung to pay 2.191 billion dollars on the issue of another patent infringement. I found this article to be interesting because it is not the first time Apple and Samsung have gone to court over patents and I do not think this will be the last. It is interesting to see which two of the biggest tech giants will win the case. I like law and technology so combining the two into an interesting case attracted my attention.

Picture in, your mind, an app. Now this app is probably popular, one you downloaded and is from the apple app store; this, however, could be changing soon. Although the android market place has been number 1 in downloads for a while now, they've been lagging behind in profit, but that gap is closing. The market place, already receiving 45% more downloads than the apple app store, is becoming more and more popular. Expanding markets in developing countries is aiding the expansion. Ultimately, android's reasonable pricing for phones is contributing to a huge boom in phone and app sales. Although this is the case, the market place is still far behind the App Store in revenue. The app store is currently making apple 85% more than the market place does for android, but those numbers are changing. One day soon, Android may topple apple's dominance in the app world and take its place as king.

It's obvious that Apple is extremely successful. According to wired.com, Apple passed Microsoft as the world's largest tech company, and that was only in may of 2010. Its clear that other companies are trying to find ways to stand out, against Apple who dominates the computer market. So what does Intel do? Spend $300 million on Macbook Air knock offs.

As most of us know there is a constant war going on between mac & PC but now it seems as thought one of the contenders have given up. Many PC companies have now begun just making Mac clones! Apple is the leader in technological advances and PC's are struggling to keep up. This Drives the producers to try and follow the leader to see if they can capture the same technology at a PC's price.

Samsung tried to file an injunction with the tokyo district court to stop apple from selling the iphone in japan and Australia. is apple really so threatning to the samsung business that they would try to make it illegal to sell, well, apple is actually that big in the computing environment.

News from the never-ending patent war between Apple and Samsung: the Wall Street Journal is reporting today that Samsung filed for preliminary injunctions in the Tokyo District Court and in the New South Wales Registry, Australia. This time, the goal is to block sales of the iPhone 4S, which launched in both countries last Friday.

Why isn't apple releasing an 7 inch iPad. They say its just isn't apples way. They don't want to change the price just because its a smaller iPad so they rather keep their iPad stay the same size as it is.

Apple is actually thinking of coming out with their own HDTV. Since Apple doesn't really use buttons, there TV will have self-function. Which means that you can simply tell the TV to change the channel and soon enough your on a different channel. Amazing, right? I think this TV is actually one of the coolest inventions that Apple has made.

this a new invention apple came up with is a case for your iPhone and a dumbbell in one. this case is good for the people who like to jog and listen to music at the same time, you can put one dumbbell in your hand and your case in the other and you can connect your earphones into your case and listen to your favorite music . in my opinion this is a pointless invention because this is another way apple is trying to take our money away from us. we can easily just use 2 dumbbells and put our phones in our pocket. this is my opinion on the dumbbell case.

This article is about the next generation of Macbook Pro's. Multiple Apple resellers are reporting  some of the current models as out of stock, including J&R and Best Buy. In fact, they are not accepting online orders at this point. Traditionally, the retail channel dries up as Apple shuts down production. This cleans the distribution channels out of units as they get ready to introduce fresh models into the market. There aren't many details on the incoming MacBook Pro 2012, but it's safe to expect that they will be much faster- using Core i7 Ivy Bridge processors.

The new iPad wasn't the most surprising outcome. I personally thought it would look way different. But, here are ways that could of made the iPad much surprising. Everyone want's long battery, so it could last for a while, nobody would want smudging on the screen, and of course nobody would want cracks on their screens.  Those are some examples that would impress the Apple customers.

This article is about google coming out with their own version of an app like siri called Google "assistant". I'm sure many companies are trying to find a way to compete with apple. Siri was just the next big thing that helped apple stay on top. Now companies like google are trying to compete and bring out their own version of this most loved app. Google says that unlike  siri, this app is more about accomplishing real-life goals, and less about returning search results. Google says 2012 is the year of "assistant".

Apple, with a potential injunction shutting down the company's iCloud service there over infringement of a Motorola Mobility patent being pegged as a $2.7 billion risk to Apple.

Business Insider says they have a friend who knows some Apple employees who say that the iPad 3 will have a 3D display. What we have heard however is that Apple is working on 3G gestures which they've patented and could be used in iOS devices; though those would be more for an Apple TV type device.

Unfortunately, Apple will be selling the iPhone 3GS for free as well as the iPhone 3 GS with a new 2 year contract. The company will sell the iPhone 4 for $99 with a two-year contract, but this will only happen when Apple starts selling the iPhone 4S. For the iPhone 4S, the price is $199 which includes a two-year contract, pre-orders start October 7. 

this does not exactly have anything to do with computing and stuff like that, but the creator of apple, one of the richest, and most known company in the world has died today. after the release of the iphone 4s that is a major upgrade to the iphone 4. anyway it is a sad day for apple users :(

although many people weren't pleased with the new release from apple because it was only an upgrade to the previous iPhone 4, apple still managed to break records. An estimated one million pre-orders were made in the span of 24 hours. the iPhone 4S which is a major upgrade to the iPhone 4 has better processor improvements, a new 8 mega pixel camera, and new speech to text and text to speech.

These are just two different views of how Apple and Google deal with issues in their OS' and how they tend to fix them by gathering info from either users or looking it over themselves.

Apple missed with their earnings today. It's the first time in a long time that has happened. Some are suggesting that hasn't happened since 2002. That's big news. But it's also masking even bigger news: Apple's expectations for next quarter.

That's right, folks, the legal battles between Apple and Samsung are far from over. The Cupertino company has successfully won its case to have a preliminary injunction slapped on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia, meaning Samsung cannot sell its 10-inch slate down under.
