This article is about how the operating system Windows 8, has passed 200 million license sales. Within the first six months of windows 8 release, it passed 100 million license sales. However after that, the progress stayed the same and there weren't any spikes in sales. Windows 8 is doing slower at its sales than windows 7, as windows 7 passed 240 million sales after its first year. The reason for the slowdown in sales is the general PC market. People haven't got used to the tablet style computers with a touch screen interface. Microsoft is slowly going to change that and bring back the keyboard and mouse UI. By the time April 2014 hits, windows 8 should have a new 8.1.1 update.

And, it just looks plain awesome. Personally, no matter how much of a PC enthusiast I am i would not install this in my Personal Computer as this technology is not perfected yet. For a little more cost, not including a water cooling loop, you can get a stick of RAM with not only more memory, but with a greater base clock than even this hyperX H2O at it's finest can't overcome, without the hassle of leaks, and the extra cost of installation due to piping and radiators.

In my opinion, I would build my own computer, even if it costs more money, because I want to install the parts that I think are right for me based on what I use my computer for (eg. gaming, video editing, etc).

Sony is developing a new virtual reality headset for the PlayStation 4. This headset will have1080p quality with a 90 degree field of view. The headset is very stylish and refined compared the other giant in virtual reality technology, the oculus rift. Morpheus (codename for the vr headset) will be the only competition for Oclulus Rift concerning customers seeking virtual reality gameplay. Although we don't know yet if Morpheus out performs the rift I believe that there will be a virtual reality was between the two. Being a gamer myself, I really like the possibility of virtual reality gameplay. Unfortunately at the moment the Morpheus is not for me because prefer playing games on the pc and will probably never buy a next gen console.

Everyone is familiar with the infamous Blue Screen of Death, right? Well, Windows 8 has revamped their ever so annoying alert. The error codes most commonly seen on computers when the feared Blue Screen appears are gone, replaced with a sad emoticon that still leaves you guessing what's wrong. It does tell you that the PC is rebooting, but not why. Still infuriating and rather pointless. :(

Some details on the upcoming Windows 8 were revealed. Including an 8 second boot up time. in my opinion this is very important new feature because a common complaint about pc users (including myself) is a long boot up time.

Now 10 years later when we have the shiny Windows 7 out, and Windows 8 coming out soon, we must remember the OS that changed it all, Windows XP. This is the reason we have all these things that we didn't have before like talking to friends via our PC, Wireless networking and more. Happy birthday Windows XP, you are always better than Vista.

This article shows how people will react to new tablets.  People seem to be very interested in tablets, despite cost.  Many large companies in the U.S. and Canada, such as Best Buy and Future Shop, reported low stocks of the new Microsoft Surface Pro.  Microsoft will continue to develop new tablets/computers like their new Surface Pro, as consumers show an interest for these new technologies such as tablets.  The only units left in consistent stock are the 64GB, as people favor the 128Gb units over their lesser counter-parts.  I think that Microsoft will earn a lot of profit because of this new software that they are producing, as consumers are willing to but expensive tablets that come with new features.  Other companies as well as microsoft will capatilize on this willingness, and we will surely see new software similiar to this in the future.
