i chose video game designer because i love playing video games, when i play video games i always come up with ideas to try to improve the game. i also think this job is amazing because you get to design your own game which i always wanted to do all my life. It's been less than 200 years since the birth of photography and in those years it has evolved a lot from the first camera to the smart phones that we so often use to take pictures today. This article maps out the evolution of photography throughout the years, and what it has come to be today. Cameras and photos have come a long way from what they first were. Even the digital camera, has become a smaller part of our lives as the phones with built in cameras had been introduced to our society. In fact, about 741 million mobile phones worldwide now have some photo capability. We no longer look to digital cameras or computers to edit and share our photos. All of those capabilities have been added to our smart phones. It has now become very easy to simply snap a photo and share it on a social networking site like instagram or facebook. In fact, Facebook has 10, 000 times more photos than the Library of Congress. Many of us have lost the need for digital cameras. Mobile photography is the latest evolution and many are experiencing the shift. Our phones are always with us and it provides us with the perfect camera when a picture perfect opportunity is right in front of us. 91% of smartphone owners take a picture at least once a month while only 73% of digital camera owners do the same. Personally, I've also experienced this shift. I used to have a digital camera and would bring it with me on field trips and special occasions. It was great to have, but now that I think about it before I had my smartphone and only used the camera I missed out on all the photo opportunities that I had in my day to day life. I only captured the big events and even when I took those photos, I always got a little lazy when it came to transferring them to my computer and sharing them with friends and family. nt. I find it very convenient. Our lifestyle with technology has made our day to day life easier for us and now it is making it possible to capture our day to day life, wherever we are. To me, this move to mobile photography hasn't killed photography, but transformed it.

I can not count how many times already that I have had something spoiled for me, be it a television series I have yet to watch, a book I have yet to buy and read, a movie still left to watch, or even a new music video for a certain Korean boy band that I follow and cry over. And all of these disgusting spoilers, that ruin my entertainment, come from the single source that is the Internet. I can't even innocently scroll through my dashboard on Tumblr to update my blog anymore without discovering five plot twists in which I have not yet been pleasantly surprised in, a death scene I least expected before it was my time to watch it, and maybe even a leaked practice video to a supposedly secret EXO comeback. Not only does this infuriate me to no end, but it also fuels the fires of my happiness in that someone created the "Spoiler Shield" app - a way to specifically block all of the spoilers you will find while going through your social media sites. Just simply input the subject you would not like to previously see before you invest the time to actually watch it, and the app will block all spoilers relating to it in real time so that going on your social media daily will never be a problem again. At last, I have found an app that will keep my eyes innocent to .gifs from Game of Thrones Season 4 so that I can now watch the show without it being ruined. The idea that this app will prevent me from stumbling over random spoilers greatly pleases me.

Warner bros is apparently thinking about doing a minecraft movie. I love minecraft and it has a huge fanbase so I this it will be very successful because I find it is very much like the the lego movie which I find most people watched because they were curious as to how it would work out. I know thats why I watched it. Minecraft is very blocky and harder to work with. The only big thing I fear is that the lego movie was okay and is now started a trend of copycats and normally the copycats are never as good as the first one. But one thing i am really hoping for because minecraft has an older age group playing it the lego that the storyline will be a little bit better. But over all I would be very interested in seeing how this works out.

Lucasfilm and Disney have announced more info on the production of the new Star Wars Episode VII film which is set to release in theatres in 2015. They are set to begin shooting this May at Pinewood Studios in London. This movie will take place 30 years after Return of the Jedi which was the end of the original Star Wars trilogy. The original actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill may return to play their roles as Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker. The last star wars movie which included these characters came out around 30 years ago, in which the older actors' aged look would come right into alignment with the movie's storyline. More announcements are sure to be made on May the 4th (known as Star Wars day). I find this very exciting because I was a huge star wars fan when I was younger, and it will be great to watch another movie that is part of a series that I watched as a kid.

15 year old Amanda Todd was found dead in her home on October 2012. This event was due to cyber, physical, and verbal bullying. He committed suicide in her house. She had no one to support her in this process. She tried forgetting so she decided to move to different schools. The people in her school followed her and made things worse. She was alone. Imagine how she felt. Bullying is horrible and it should stop today. But, no one is making a change and stopping these people. In this video, Amanda Todd stated "I didn't press any charges, i just wanted to move on". In my opinion, she should of told her parents or the police that she was being bullied because this would made a huge difference. She wouldn't be depressed for her whole entire life. This girl is my age, and if I was being bullied.. I would of told at least a teacher or my parents. Bullying is bad, and it should stop.

Bullying, a serious problem that is drawing not only around schools, but also in social networks, which is known as cyber bullying. This article explains how a girl who made a single mistake lead her to a depression, getting bullied in school and online, then to cause suicide. Our generations should be bullies but rather, support those who are in depression. One devastating mistake can lead to many horrible things such as cutting or even depressants. Unfortunately, this happened to the girl, and she couldn't bear the pain of being bullied even when she moved to a different school and the bullying continued. We need to take a stand and stop bullying not just to stop pain but to prevent a heavier loss, suicide. This connect to the environment because through the internet, it uses were to verbally bully someone through social networking.

I know that a lot of people were talking about Amanda Todd. Fifteen-year-old Amanda Todd posted a YouTube video last month that detailed her brushes with online and offline bullying, and this week she was found dead in her home in Canada as a result of a suspected suicide. She first attempted to kill herself by drinking bleach but then went to the hospital and survived. After people heard about that they began posting pics of bleach, Clorox. So then she hung herself. They said, 'She should try a different bleach. I hope she dies this time and isn't so stupid.' They said, 'I hope she sees this and kills herself.'" I think it is so wrong when people make others feel bad that there willing to kill themselves. This is an outrage and I can't believe she didn't find help before she decided to kill herself. 

Theodore Cottingham is single-handedly the greatest discovery I have made on the internet. When you click this link, it will bring you to the world of Theodore. All his religious beliefs on ALL of his 816 videos summed up in one minute. His philosophical nature is the driving and compelling force for this channel. The uniqueness of his delivery keeps me coming back. I honestly cannot fathom how this channel only has 18 subs. This man is not catholic, nor any religion for that matter. A future internet phenomenon for sure, reddit/atheism would probably go crazy over this guy. Oh yeah, and did I mention each one of his videos are an hour long? Don't fret though, every second is well worth being in Theodore's presence. I would consider subscribing to this guy if you already haven't, he makes a video every day. Well, there's so much I can explain on a Diigo bookmark, you'll see what I mean once you watch one of his videos. I find this article very interesting. This article explains the possible use of biotechnology to transform punishment. Philosopher Rebecca Roache and her team have spoken about the use of a drug that could make a 10 year sentence seem like 1000. The drug disorients the persons perception of time. Although many parts of this punishment seem unethical Roache make some valid points stating "Is it really OK to lock someone up for the best part of the only life they will ever have, or might it be more humane to tinker with their brains and set them free? - the goal is to look at today's punishments through the lens of the future." I find this a very interesting point and in some ways i agree with it I think in some cases it can work but I have mixed feelings. Although it seems like a good idea I feel it is a huge invasion to tinker with someones brain without consent and I really don't think anyone would consent to this.

This article is really useful if you are tired of the usual sites such as google. It really opened my eyes to new sites. I always use google, but now I think I will try some new sites.  I still like using google but I found it interesting when looking up some of google's alternatives. I think that many people will find these alternatives useful. As well as always having plan B when you are having trouble finding something or are tired of using the same resources. 

Now Mortal Kombat was one of my favorite games since I played Mortal Kombat 1, yea I was around 5 when i was playing it with my bro, don't ask why I played it or how I still remember. But this is some stupid shit that I just read. So according to Wired, Mortal Kombat showed that we might have to pay for online in the future. Like Xbox Live wasn't enough.

Over the years, the internet has become faster and faster and as this has happened our patience has decreased. We have come to expect fast speeds and short loading times on the internet and anything slower is considered unacceptable. However, before reading this article I didn't realize how impatient we had really become when it comes to the internet. This article talks about the results of a study that showed that users were likely to give up on a video after only two seconds of loading! This had come as a surprise to me. To me, two seconds seems like only an instant, but I have to admit that I still am not willing to wait much longer than that for a video especially if the video is only 10 minutes or less. However, I find it interesting how two seconds of loading has become an issue, while we are still waiting through 30 seconds or more of advertisements before we are able to view our video. If we have already spent so much time watching an ad a couple more seconds shouldn't seem like a big deal. This article shows how our expectation of high speeds has affected us and our lifestyle. We have come to expect our video to load almost immediately and if it doesn't do this then it isn't worth the time. Our ability to wait is being altered. We're no longer used to having to wait for things that we want to watch, see or listen to on the internet. We've changed into thinking that if it doesn't load instantly, then it isn't worth watching. Of course, our patience should have limits. If it really is taking longer than the length of the video itself to load then perhaps it is time to abandon the video, but I feel that waiting only two seconds before moving on shows how impatient we have become with technology.

Samsung is becoming a cheaper industry. They claim to be making their cameras run on WiFi only making there costumers unhappy with them. some say that the camera is already overpriced and to make it run on WiFi now would just be another expense not many people can afford. i believe this is wrong because the camera it self is expensive and half the time i have to fix it because of damages so by making it run on WiFi not only would that make things more complicating for myself and all the time i need to take up to fix the camera, if this new one doesn't work there would be more problems i would have to deal with. So i do not like this product because it would waste time and money on my part if there are any complications.

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) was passed to help protect digital rights, but allowed the Librarian of Congress to make exceptions to the act that would otherwise not follow the act. Today (October 28), four new exemptions to the DMCA were put into effect most notably the legalizing of jailbreaking on iPhones but not iPads. The other exemptions to the DMCA are the requirement of disabled people to own multiple devices in order to access e-books, the illegalizing of unlocking a cell phone purchased after January 2013 at a new carrier without permission from your old carrier, and the legalizing of ripping some content of a DVD only for specific purposes. The new exemptions put into effect could have a serious impact on the technology market. The number of e-book reader sold to disabled customers will decrease drastically since they will have to buy other devices so they can legally read e-books. Apple and app developers would also lose a lot of revenue from the App Store since more users will be motivated to jailbreak their iPhones and get pirated apps instead of actually buying apps since they can do so legally. The new exemptions could cause some providers to lose some money though not a significant amount should the provider refuse to unlock cell phones when consumers go to other countries since in the foreign country, consumers will be paying and using service from a local provider instead of their original provider causing them to miss out on some money. Finally, the DMCA exemptions could cause a decrease in DVD sales not just because they are losing popularity already but also because if someone wants to rip a part of a DVD, they can just borrow it from someone else instead of buying and ripping the needed content. I think these new exemptions are very silly and could end up being more harmful than useful. This article is about how Samsung is not coming out with a 3D smartphone any time soon. Samsung told Engadget that they have no immediate plans to include displays featuring 3D technology in their upcoming smartphones. I found this interesting because I wonder how many people would enjoy a 3D phone. I think that for movies and games on your phone it would look really good. I also found this interesting because I wonder why Samsung is not coming out with smartphones that have 3D features.

Who has Tumblr? i have it and i friggin love it! I love to look at the pictures, videos and statuses people reblog and post. Many people have great blogs and some have just terrible, pointless blogs. Here are some blogs that are just ridiculous... Especially the second picture and the third one. THEY ARE SO BAD THAT I JUST LOVE TO LAUGH AT HOW BAD THEY ARE.
