This article is all about the new released Chrome version 17.  In this article it talks about the changes of the improved Chrome and found it better. The new version of Chrome has more protection against malicious downloads and it is faster that will help the users to use it quickly. This new version of Chrome will stop the users to download malicious things that will be a good idea to stop all the download sessions of malicious things that are spreading throughout the internet. 

This article is basically about how Google has Forked WebKit with Blink, making a new web engine for both Chromium and Chrome. WebKit is usually referred to as the glue that binds the moodern web: the rendering engine powers Apple`s Safari, Google`s Chrome and many mobile browsers both past and present. Google believes that Chromium`s multi-process approach has added to much complexity for both the browser and WebKit itself, so it`s creating a seperate, simpler fork named Blink. Although the new engine will be much the same as WebKit from the start, it`s expected to change over time as Google strips out unnecessary codes and tweaks the underlying platform. The company has also confirmed that both Chrome and Chrome OS will be using Blink in the future.

This article is about Google Chrome blocking major websites, such as YouTube, for having malware. This could have been a problem with Google Chrome, but this brings up something that we take for granted. We go on to websites not knowing what kind of virus' and malware could be on it. Even the biggest websites could have malware, and they could be found on the ads you find on all big websites. This article notifies readers that Google has boosted the speed and their browser's hardware acceleration with the launch of Google Chrome, version 18. Google paid more than $210,000 to outside researchers to identify and prevent a number of bugs, flaws, and hacking challenges from this past year so these same problems wouldn't be involved in this new update. This interests me because I am a Google Chrome user both at home and school and when I hear that another version is offered that speeds up Web applications, various software's such as Adobe Flash Player, games, internet, etc, I am more than pleased to get on my computer to update my browser to overall experience a better and more efficient use while on my computer that Google has to offer. But in my opinion, the most intriguing part of this article is how even with Google constantly updating and improving their web browser, Google Chrome, in the month of February, Google's browser is only third with 18.9% of users, next to Firefox with 20.9% of users, and in first, Microsoft Internet Explorer with more than half of users at 52.8%. People are least invested in Google's web browser and this largely adds to the reason to why they are constantly changing their Google Chrome design to attract but also to maintain their users. My thoughts are how I think it be interesting to see what Google has next up their sleeve because they have the money, technology, and resources to develop a browser that has enough features and limited problems to double and almost triple their amount of web users in hopefully the near future. 

This article is about Google Chrome being available on android's. i think this is effective because Google chrome is very fast and it allows you to go on sites without your phone freezing. 

Google chrome was launched  3 years ago and soon became one of the most popular web browsers. chrome's amazing design and fairly short development has set hight standards for other web browser vendors. Chrome's transparent update system and channel-based prerelease distribution model are being adopted by Firefox and could eventually be picked up by other browser vendors. After three years chrome remains one of the best browsers in the world and has a bright future ahead.

This article is relevant to many people because now on an android phone with the Google Chrome app installed. One does not have to type in the URL in the top bar. You now are able to just search whatever topic you want in that same bar you type the URL in. This in my opinion is much more convenient because you are not wasting pages while browsing on your android. Also, you are able to open more tabs which will help you work faster. 

Chrome has developed a new way of filtering emails for users. Points are awarded to those who can quickly delete messages and reply. Every messaged received comes with a timer and points are given based on how fast you can delete or reply to it, and how concise your reply is. A brilliant idea for anyone who rarely checks their emails, along with those who do so frequently.

Google, being the innovators and marketers that they are, are working on a new feature which will put Chrome ahead of the pack in the mobile browsing world. Google is using a new data compressing tool to make browsing faster and more reliable. The new technique involves forcing websites to be loaded to Google's proxies. Rather then having the user connect to the individual websites protocols, the user connects to Google's lighting fast server, allowing them to few the web page at a much faster rate. In addition, Google's servers will be made to compress the data of the website, allowing an even faster connection. The Opera browser has a similar feature to this called "Turbo" and it works in a similar way. However, Google may have the upper hand here, as Opera can't compete with Google's size, market, and staying power.

This new tab syncing feature that google provides, allows the user coordinate the tabs between their mobile device and home laptop/desktop. This relates to Portable Computing because you are able to access tabs on your home computer through a mobile device while outside. This could also connect to the Privacy and Security tag because if someone has access your devices they are able to change your info or documents. This is extremely helpful during your day to day lifestyle since a large portion of the population uses mobile devices. The positive aspect would be that you're able to  continue work. The negative aspect could be that an outside source could access your info. With an Android phone with the new Chrome beta installed, you have the power of  being able to access any open tab any on your desktop from any location.

XBOX appears to be one of those gaming systems made by Microsoft, that has become very successful over the years. They have many dedicated players and always come up with awesome new ideas for the system. Even though I personally do not own an xbox, I believe these new controllers are a very good idea. Although they may not look very different, they are actually going to be more sleek and come in multiple colours like red and blue. They will also be more shinier. They will be released in mid-may and sell for $54.99. This relates to the course because it is a hardware that connects with a software. As well many people will be happy that they can get nice new controllers to replace their old ones. 

Microsoft announces a new Xbox 360 controller, also known as the special edition chrome series. This controller will satisfy gamers who like to have swag while they're playing because all their friends will be jealous of this amazing, shiny controller. In other words, you should buy this controller to have swag. Microsoft also announced that there will be three controllers to be released during may. It comes in blue, red, or silver. Though Internet Explorer is still reigning as the most used browser. There is one other, though, that may challenge it's reign: Chrome. Right now, Chrome and Firefox are battling for the number two spot. For the longest time, Firefox held that place; now - times they-are-a-changin'. Chrome's usage has grown by 50%, and is expected to take over second place by Christmas time. Not only that, but Internet Explorer is also expected to fall sometime soon, though it is hard to say specifically. Chrome is doing well, for the reason specifically that it is surpassing all, others, and a fan favorite, so to speak.

Google has added Web apps on to the desktop and the new page has bigger and friendly icons. it also added new technologies in Chrome that securely execute low-level code in the browser. Some of the new apps are gmail, Google Reader, Google News, and of course Angry Birds. Sounds good and even better then how it was before.

This article is all about ChromeOS. ChromeOS has always been just a Chrome browser and very little else. With the latest development build, however, Chromebook owners can try out a window manager, a taskbar, and even desktop space. At the moment, only owners of Acer or Samsung Chromebooks can try out the latest Dev Channel build with "Aura," the new desktop scheme.

This article talks about Internet Explorers recent up-rise in the market. Over the past several years, Internet Explorer faced a massive decline in their marketing, because of safari, chrome and firefox. Now Internet Explorer, once again is increasing. This is relevant because it tells users that Internet Explorer may be reliable and it as  at easy access due to it already being installed on your computer. 

f you haven't already used the Google Chrome web browser, I highly recommend you try it out. It's a fantastic web browser - so good, in fact, that it has now attracted over 200 million downloads.

This post is about a new app made by McAfee which is meant to be an extra security for people's photos on Facebook. We know that even if we put our privacy settings on "only friends" there are ways through comments, likes and mutual friends that people you do not know can come across your pictures and download, print or upload them on a different site. This app helps protect by asking users to list who will get to view their photos. Only those people on the list will get to see the photo no matter who is friends with who, or who likes or comments on it. People not on the exact list will only see the photo blurry and barely visible. In addition to that nobody will be able to grab, print or download the photos even if they are on the list of people who can see the photos. This app is only in its development or "beta" phase, but it is already free to download and use on Internet Explorer and Firefox. The company is still working on versions for Chrome and mobile devices. Before concluding they did mention that there are still ways to photograph the photo with your phone, if you have a clear picture. I believe this app is a big step to having online security. This app can help stop the spread of your photos before it starts. People may not think about their internet security very often but it is important to know that once it's on the internet it's on there forever. With internet popularity growing and growing we must also know the dangers of posting photos and protect ourselves. Facebook allows so much public information to be revealed this app can ensure you have a more private account. In my opinion this is a great app and considering that it is free while it is being developed I think people should try it out. Although it's only available on Firefox and Internet Explorer it is already a leap in the right direction. However, as it was mentioned earlier you can still have people take photos from their phones. Nevertheless, if you chose the correct people on your list

We all know how dreadfully horrid Internet Explorer can be, especially older versions. Many have us have grown accustomed to cleaner, more versatile browsers such as (and pretty much only) Google Chrome. With the release of Windows 8, Microsoft has produced IE10. Microsoft is painfully aware of their browser's reputation, and has taken advertising it in a humourous way. The video depicts a typical basement dweller sending "IE sucks" comments and replies to forums, videos, twitter, and the like. Eventually, he comes around when IE creates a new "Karaoke standard" for the web, changing his point of view to "IE sucks... less." The ad directs to www.browseryoulovedtohate.com. Although many of us may never use IE voluntarily, the browser has come a long way from being the decrepit, slow "browser for people who don't know any better." It has made progress, and that is the driving force of technology. Who knows? Perhaps IE10 will be a bit more bearable than its predecessors.

Last November, Google has removed the feature and option of people personalizing their backgrounds when they use the search engine on Goggle. But now personalized backgrounds are back! You can do this by just simply specifying that you want a certain picture to be your background.  This feature makes Google feel like your own and it's fun to do. Plus it adds a bit of flare onto the page instead of looking at a boring Google search page. You can also upload a photo if you chose for it to be your personalized background.
