पिछले कई दिनों से चल रहे विवाद के बीच आज CBI शारदा चिट फंड घोटाला मामले में कोलकाता पुलिस कमिश्नर राजीव कुमार से पूछताछ करेगी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद यह पूछताछ मेघालय की राजधानी शिलॉन्ग में होगी। इसके लिए राजीव शिलॉन्ग पहुंच गए हैं। उनके साथ कोलकाता पुलिस के तीन अन्य अधिकारी भी शिलॉन्ग पहुंचे हैं। इस विवाद पर सुनवाई करते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा था कि CBI राजीव कुमार को गिरफ्तार नहीं कर सकती।

उन्नाव रेप मामले में आरोपी विधायक कुलदीप सिंह की सेंगर पर शिकंजा कसता दिख रहा है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, दिल्ली में सुनवाई के दौरान जांच एजेंसी CBI ने कोर्ट को बताया कि उसकी जांच में पीड़िता के आरोप बिल्कुल सही निकले हैं।CBI ने कोर्ट में कहा कि 4 जून, 2017 को विधायक कुलदीप सिंह ने शशि सिंह नामक दूसरे आरोपी के साथ साजिश कर पीड़िता का रेप किया था। आइये, यह पूरी खबर जानते हैं।

CJI Ranjan Gogoi, on Monday, recused himself from a plea challenging the appointment of Nageshwar Rao as the interim director of CBI. The case will now be taken up by a different bench on January 24. But, CJI said he will be a part of the select panel which will decide the next boss of CBI.

Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram suffered a series of setbacks, on Monday. Firstly, the Supreme Court refused to take up a plea, filed by him seeking protection from arrest in a probe related to INX Media case. The bench termed his plea "infructuous" (meaning unnecessary) as he has already been arrested by CBI. Secondly, his petition challenging his CBI custody wasn't listed for the hearing, either.

CBI is conducting searches at around 13 locations spread over Srinagar, Jammu, Gurgaon and Noida at the premises of the Deputy Commissioners (DC) and District Magistrates (DM) of Kupwara, Barmula, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Sopian, Rajouri, Doda, Pulwama, in an ongoing investigation of two cases.

P Chidambaram, former Finance Minister and one of the tallest leaders of Congress, was arrested by CBI on Wednesday in full media glare. Interestingly, the 73-year-old was taken away by the probing agency to the same building whose inauguration he attended in 2011 when he was the Home Minister in UPA-II. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was the guest of honor back then.

The Supreme Court will hear the plea of former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram challenging his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection to the INX Media caseon Monday, August 26. On Thursday, Chidambaram was sent to CBI custody till August 26 by a special court. The agency argued his custody is important for interrogation and alleged Chidambaram hasn't been cooperative.

The CBI has informed the Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly that neither Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah nor Union Minister Farooq Abdullah figured in the investigations into the 2006 sex scandal.

दिल्ली में रहने वाले 79 वर्षीय पूर्व नगर निगम कर्मचारी जगननाथ को 250 रुपये रिश्वत लेने के आरोप में 28 साल बाद बरी किया गया है।दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने हाल ही में उन्हें इस आरोप से बरी किया है। जगननाथ पर आरोप था कि उन्होंने पकड़ी गई एक गाय को छोड़ने के लिए 250 रुपये की रिश्वत ली थी।इससे पहले 2002 में एक ट्रायल कोर्ट ने उन्हें कथित तौर पर रंगे हाथ पकड़ने पर दोषी करार दिया था।
