This website provides several examples of how emphasis can be used in web design. It shows how proportion, contrast and physical relationship can be added to create this sense of emphasis. The easiest method of creating emphasis seems to be contrast. It is very easy to create contrast by simply using different, contrasting colors.
flow is simply the path a users eyes take through a design. This is primarily a result of how elements like emphasis and contrast are used. In fact, flow is entirely the result of how other elements are put together.
Video Resume: A page dedicated entirely to creating a video resume and how you should do so. It explains what equipment you should use, how to be concious of lighting, and also goes into being careful of legalities and creativity.
This image shows how line thickness and darkness can create depth in a two dimensional piece of art and make it appear to be three-dimensional. Looking at real world applications of how lines can be used really helps me understand that material more.

This website has been a great help to me. I am pretty learned in what the internet is all about and how to use it, but it is always very interesting to form knowledge of how exactly it was developed and put to use.
Explains more about the culture that has been created using the internet as a source of information and how communication has increased due to this phenomenon. It helped me draw connects to how we perceive the internet today and the history of the internet.

This website provides information on the elements of design, including texture, and how important it can be to interior design, which I find interesting. It is truly incredible how much these elements can influence our daily lives outside of digital media.
While old, I like this resource for two reasons. It gives a snapshot of a problem that we are able to use and relate to today. We are able to see the sort of things they were thinking and how we have evolved or regressed. I also like how it is not just talking about the digital divide, but actually going in to "Where We Are" (or were in 2002). (12/10 Week 14)
