We are able to see the sort of things they were thinking and how we have evolved or regressed. Explaination of what is digitization

In Chapter one of the text, the topic of raster versus vector images is touched upon. I chose this website because it dives a little further into the topic of which type of image you should use. This site is helpful because it is very clear that you should use vector images for logos and illustrations and raster images should be used for digital graphics and digital photography. Knowing when to use each type of imaging is critical when beginning a project.

Interesting piece about how digital technology changes the media

I thought this little blog was very useful for understanding rule of thirds as it applies to photography. I was already familiar with the rule from my photography class in high school and I find it is easier to understand in that context as opposed to the digital drawing arena. Basically, because I understand it in the photography context, it allows me to better understand it the way it has been presented in the text.

Once you learn exactly why good design is CRAP, then you, too, will see vast improvements in your designs as well.
