This website helped me to better understand the definitions of immediacy, hypermedia, and remediation. It sort of broke down the terms a little bit better than in the reading for me.

I know I already shared one page but I thought that this was a good one as well. This blog post really talks about remediation and how it is used in the creation of new digital media as well as what remediation means to the lay person.

We define "new media" as interactive forms of communication that use the Internet, including podcasts, RSS feeds, social networks, text messaging, blogs, wikis, virtual worlds and more! << this article relates new media to HIV.

This blog describes and gives examples of Immediacy, hypermediacy and remediation.

I thought this little blog was very useful for understanding rule of thirds as it applies to photography. I was already familiar with the rule from my photography class in high school and I find it is easier to understand in that context as opposed to the digital drawing arena. Basically, because I understand it in the photography context, it allows me to better understand it the way it has been presented in the text.

This is a webpage about flow from a digital scrapbook creator. This is some good information because she provides a simplistic definition of flow and states some good ways of how to accomplish flow.

I like this page because although it describes flow in scrap booking, I think we can apply this to web layout or our blogs. She explains visual flow very nicely and even explains how to create flow.

You may or may not be aware but alignment is such an integral part of most website design that you probably do not even realize it is there; it sits in the background, hidden as an initial design element. << Reinforces that alignment is more important than it seems.
