This article discusses gender dysphoria in very young children and the struggles that their families face. It says that forcing a child to conform to the gender in which he was born can lead to mental issues in the future. It also discusses starting young children on hormone therapy to become transgendered.

This author has an argument against our Government on how there shouldn't be so many laws.

Greg Merle does a wonderful job of pointing out the facts that lead to the question are we really free? He lists a few restrictions the government puts on the American people.

"What is it that big government doesn't get about the "pursuit of happiness". We have to be free to make mistakes. We don't need laws designed to protect me from me, such as seat belt laws, trans fat laws, helmet laws, shower head water flow laws, etc. Did you know that there is actually a black market on certain toilets because the government wants to control how much you flush?  From a logical stand point, it's ridiculous."

There is a school that is teaching children as young a five years old about sexual matters. It is a "staged" program, meaning it is taught in stages. For instance, stage one would be for ages 5-7 years of age. Stage two would be from ages 8-11 and so on. What the article explained is that there is a level of education that is required to be taught. This was put in place by the national curriculum. There are certain subjects and areas our children have to be taught within the school system. Where does it say that this involves sexual intercourse? The children would start from age five learning about the body and life cycles and by age seven would be learning about intercourse. Many parents are outraged and looking for ways to meet this concerning issue head on. Parents are feeling that this type of teaching can lead their children to be faced with feelings they are not old enough to deal with responsibly. Other parents feel that school should be a pressure free place for their children.The bottom line is that schools have the right to decide what is taught within the nation curriculum's guidelines.It is up to parents to find out exactly what is being taught to their children and decide from there.

Balancing the Fourth Amendment rights and the need for law enforcement to obtain useful evidence is very difficult. in many cases, law enforcement officials have not been able to secure the evidence needed to proceed with the conviction process of suspects.

I understand an automobile is private property but I don't see the problem with searches. If someone is worried about their vehicle being searched than there is probably something in there that shouldn't be and it needs to be searched!

I agree searches should be allowed in investigations. Our rights are ment to protect us, but many want to use it for selfish reasons.

I do agree with the fact that people in america are more likely to be killed due to gun violence. But i think it is because our country is more privileged when it comes to even having access to them.

It is broke. I think we should look at the way Israel handles their airport security.

However, I relate to this a great deal since this past May & June I went to Afghanistan - and I was traveling with an Afghan citizen. I understand why they would be more cautious. Our coming back flight stopped in Dubai and we expected to have problems coming into the USA, but we also faced issues in Amsterdam. We were questioned a little longer than the other people - almost missed the flight because of it, twice - in Amsterdam & in the USA to coming to Phoenix. However, it did not bother us - we knew we would face issues. I don't even know how many times I was x-rayed - or how much time we spent talking to officials a little longer than everyone else and it happened everywhere we stopped, not only in the USA! I agree with these terms of not being so strict when leaving the USA, but coming back I could understand why the security was a little tighter.

He express his opinion about new laws being created to ask to see peoples papers. According to him private property of citizens include papers such as birth certificate and the government has no right to ask for them without probable cause.

This article summarizes 10 top facts about Health Care Reform. Insurance companies will regulate more heavily. they will be told the minimum for services that they will cover. Everyone will have health insurance or they must pay a fine. Employers will be mandated to provide insurance to the employees or they will be fined also. Which sounds good to me, my employer thinks he doesnt have to give anything at all.

About 4.7 million Americans, more than 2 percent of the adult population, are barred from voting because of a felony conviction. Also talks about how felons can apply for the right to become apart of society again and have the right to vote.

About 2 percent of the adult population can not vote. Why is this? It is because they are felons. The right to vote should not be taken away from you if you have paid your debt to society. The rules vary from state to state. Is this law right? Shouldn't we all be able to voice our opinion?

Romney and Gingrich argue over illegal immigration. Romney wants the 11 million illegal immigrants that have jobs to go back to their country and let the legal Americans that need work to work. Gingrich agrees that something needs to be done with the immigration. Romney and Ginrich also argue over mortgages.

The second amendment can be confusing. Is the right to bear arms only for your house or for your car too? Some states make you have a permit to carry a gun in your vehicle. If it applies to only in the home, why can you have one in the car if you have a permit?

Washington Bureau Reporting from Washington - The 2nd Amendment's "right to keep and bear arms" is proving to be a right to keep a gun at home, but so far not a right to bear a loaded firearm in public.

This short article shows a bill that passed in Kentucky to start testing for illegal drugs to get state assistance such as food stamps or any cash assistant programs.  Positive testing results will not be given to police, but will cause the applicant to be ineligible. Also they must be tested yearly.

Only one state, Oregon, has legalized assisted suicide. The Oregon statute, which went into effect in October 1997, provides that a doctor may prescribe, but not administer, a lethal dose of medication to a patient who has less than six months to live. Two doctors must agree that the patient is mentally competent and that the decision was voluntary. As of April 1999, 23 patients were given drugs under the statute, and 15 of them used the drugs to commit suicide. A report released by the Oregon state Health Division reviewing the first year of the law's implementation found that the law was working well and had not been subject to abuse.
