These is a great topic in my opinion. You hear so many people talk about how they have stop smoking to avoid getting sick in the future. I think its great that smoking is banned from many public places, because like they say second smoke has the same affect as if you where the smoker. I see that more and more people prefer non smoking hotel rooms, bars, restaurants etc its a better choose for are health. And like the article mentions of not hiring smokers.

A voting right that Ameicans have, has become a concern. Minorities in states such as Texas and North Carolina are feeling discriminated due to changes in voting structures such as providing proper identification, purging voting rolls, and cutiing back on ealry voting.

This is more of a public debate on whether or not it should be legal to let someone commit suicide or not. This debate is open to public and many writers bring up ever valid points on whether it is okay to assisted someone with their own suicide if they ask or whether that is considered murder.

The article is very generic and does not go into all the questions asked in the survey. Still intresting to see how people view their states.

One of my teachers told the class that everything you learn about computers during your freshman and sophomore years of college will most likely be outdated by your junior year - just to help realize how fast technology is actually growing. Anything online can affect you now-a-days it seems. On the news the other day, there was a story about Facebook Friends and your credit. People are actually being denied car loans or things of that sort because of the friends they have on Facebook because if their friends seem unreliable and have bad scores, then the company will assume you do too. It's getting ridiculous to be honest.

These days employers monitor and know everything you are doing. Knowing this, I feel like if you are acting in a way that is respectable both at work and in your personal life, you will have nothing to worry about. I do not see this issue of lack of privacy changing, I see it increasing as time goes on.

I always thought that my body was my own, including the very thing that makes me the unique individual that I am today.This article is arguing that there should not be a patent put on our DNA because of the cost and the ability to get second opinions on what could be life saving. But the college presidents got what they wanted: a national debate about the drinking age.

It has been brought up by college presidents to lower the drinking age. They believe that just because the law is a failure they should automatically change it for teens who want to drink. You can't stop teens from drinking, and even if you lower the age they will still get in wrecks.
