Six Democrats in Georgia's state House of Representatives unveiled a bill on Jan. 11 that would "require seizure" of "certain weaponry and ammunition" that is deemed as contraband. Many people in the government are worried with large numbers of automatic weapons being demand by civilians is fearful. A bill was introduced to the state of Georgia that an automatic weapon that doesn't meet the standards should be outlawed.

The National Rifle Association is in support of the purposed bill. Lawmakers supposedly held assemblies with University and Police officials. January 9th the bill was introduced to the legislature. Supposing the bill passes into law, Arizona would be marked as one out of the only five states where guns are allowed on a college campus.

Governor Brewer quickly signed this bill after Governor Napolitano resigned to take over as secretary of US Homeland Security. This law also requires that when asked by law enforcement, gun owners must accurately answer if asked about a concealed weapon.

Some are for the new law, stating it restores the Second Amendment rights in the Constitution. Others oppose the law, believing it puts AZ residents in danger of those who do not know how to properly use a gun, but are carrying one concealed.

The DREAM Act is a bill that will make it easier for illegal immigrants to attend school and become a citizen in the long run. This Act will only be allowed to those who meet the requirements of it. The president of the United States is for this bill because he believes those illegal immigrants should not be punished for "the actions of their parents" and be denied to further their education. Without this bill, illegal immigrants wanting to go to school, get a decent job or join the military will not be able to.

I think that everyone has the right to believe in what they want. As long as they don't try to force others then I see no problem in it. I myself am not a religious person, but that does not mean that I should go around telling people what they believe in is wrong. We should all have an understandings for others beliefs and not try to shut them down just because of our own beliefs.
