Mitsubishi Electric Corporation recently announced
that it will invest
a total of 7 billion yen ($75.61 million) by March 2012 in a project
to build facilities within the company's production sites in
Japan for experiments designed to establish advanced smart grid
technologies. The project will contribute to
the company’s efforts to support the adoption of sustainable power
supplies worldwide.
