  • For the CSM project, Nexans has supplied 212 km of cable with a single 6 mm2 copper core and 804 km of cable with a single 10 mm² copper core. The cables comprise both standard ENERGYFLEX® and ENERGYFLEX® One Stripe featuring a coloured red or blue strip for ease of identification. The cables were installed at the site between March and June 2010. Schneider Electric has also purchased bare Nexans cable with a copper cross-section of 35 mm² to create the underground cable network for the CSM project.

  • Cable company Nexans has been awarded a contract by StatoilHydro ASA to supply the submarine cables for the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm project, located around 20 kilometer (km) offshore from Sheringham, on England's north Norfolk coast. The contract scope includes engineering, procurement and construction of two 22km, 145 kilovolt (kV) XLPE submarine export cables, and a spare cable with associated equipment. An optical fiber cable will also be included.

  • En décembre 2009, le câble moyenne tension monophasé (24 kV) a ainsi transporté un courant de 3 200 A dans des conditions de laboratoire, un ampérage près de 10% supérieur à celui de tout câble moyenne tension installé dans le monde.
  • Le câble de démonstration, long de 30 mètres, comprenant les extrémités et l'enveloppe cryogénique associées, a fait la preuve de sa viabilité dans le laboratoire de Nexans à Hanovre.
