This website serves as your "go to" website in the inception stages of intergrating technology in the classroom or when you inquire about the educational resources available on a specific topic. The amount of resouces on this website is vast, for all core subject areas. What I liked most about this site is: you are able to search for your needs by subject, person, holiday, or topic. Reaching Accessibility: Guidelines for Creating and Refining Digital Learning Materials - 0 views

  •
This article is by Dr. Hoffman, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the ALIMA program at UCF. It provides guidelines for creating digital learning materials for those with accessibility issues, such as learning disabilities, or vision and motor impairments. The fact that I had no idea that's what the article was about (I was thinking about general accessibility for everyone) is an indication that this is a topic that deserves more attention, awareness, and application in practice. The article will be freely available as a PDF from this webpage when on campus or logged into the UCF proxy server.

Math Forum - Ask Dr. Math Archives: Middle School Probability - 0 views

  •
Great resource for teachers, parents, and students. It's a search database that categorizes math topic by grade level and it explains concepts in plain step by step terms. This type of website would be awesome for parents that are not math savvy to use to brush up on their math skills or to relearn math concepts while trying to help their children.Great for teachers to refer to as a secondary way to explain a concept beyond their knowledge and the textbook being used.
