    The Florida Digital Educator program supports the appropriate integration of technology into K-12 education. Visit the Florida Standards website for information about the Sunshine State Standards. Each photo is available in multiple sizes great for student and teacher use. A friendly license allows teachers and students to use up to 25 free photos per project.

    This website is AMAZING. It has clip-art, photographs, presentation images, maps, lessons, and answers to tech questions. There are so many images available, they are free (up to a certain amount, but it is very generous), it tells you exactly how to cite them, and it has options for file size and format.     The State of Florida's Department of Education has an overall plan for the implementation of educational technologies in K12 schools. Below the conceptual graphic, you will find a link to the pdf of the complete 52 page document. It is worth a skim to find out how Florida schools' integration of technology compares to that of schools in other countries. There are also a number of resources available to Florida teachers of which you may be unaware.

    According to this FDOE 2012 report, Florida has a plan to incorporate technology in our schools, which involves provision of "personalized learning" environments, staff training and leadership, and availability of networks.

    From FLDOE site - but also a site that we live by in 5th grade at my school. Gives access to sample FCAT questions based on standards, as well as videos and other resources online that can be used.

    This is by far the best site the DOE has to offer. The curriculum maps are easy to design and there is a plethora of lesson plans for each standard for every grade level to work with. This is especially nice when you have little resources from your district!

    I loved using this site to help my students practice skills in reading and math prior to completing science practice. Unfortunately the science test is testing reading comprehension as much as it tests science. If students are great at hands on experiments but cannot associate a paragraph of written material to the hands on activity, then they will not do well on FCAT Science. FCAT Explorer will help with those skills prior to science lessons.

    This site is a part of the Florida Department of Education's website, however, it is a separate part that is just for teachers. It provides information on different conferences or workshops that educators can attend, or great field trip ideas that are free for classes.
