This article highlights several free online resources that can be used to enhance project-based learning for students. Resources such as Google Docs and Dropbox may be widely known already in this class, but others include LiveMinutes, ShowMe, and GimmeBar. I found this on Education World via the publisher companion site to our textbook.

Teachhub provides teachers with multiple resources that they can use with their interactive whiteboards. resources are a great way for teachers to engage classrooms in learning. All of these pages include free activities and lessons to use so that you don't have to take the time to create your own original interactive white board lessons.

Excellent website with free resource and lesson plans. Led me to 44 force and motion recources for 1st grade in a matter of seconds!

eInstruction Workspace (comes with the Mobi, but I use it all the time instead of PowerPoint) Livescribe Desktop (free, but without the pen there isn't much you can do) Animationish (not free, but the most fun art animation program I have ever seen!) Hyperstudio5 (not free, but worth the minimum price - much more creative than PPT!)

Cue is a professional development company that specifies in educational technology. Although it is a company, there is a great free app for IPads and IPhones where you can download their informational magazines for free.

BrainPop offers online subscription for students and teachers. It provides countless short videos on a variety of topics and provides a quiz at the end.

Great teacher resource that is FREE for teachers with a current BrainPOP username and Password! This can be used in conjunction with your current subscription.

Awesome resource I found on FLDOE. PBS Teachers provides PreK-12 educational resources and activities for educators tied to PBS programming and correlated to local and national standards and professional development opportunities delivered online. It has free webinars, free professional development training modules, videos, and much more.

This website is AMAZING. It has clip-art, photographs, presentation images, maps, lessons, and answers to tech questions. There are so many images available, they are free (up to a certain amount, but it is very generous), it tells you exactly how to cite them, and it has options for file size and format. Discovery education is a great resource for teachers at any level. Their website offers a multitude of free resources for all grade levels and subjects. It also includes lesson plans and worksheets for teachers, and homework help for students and teachers.

The Khan Academy website offers a free online collection of more than 3,600 micro lectures via video tutorials stored on YouTube teaching mathematics, history, healthcare, medicine, finance, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, economics, cosmology, and organic chemistry, American civics, art history, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and computer science.

An open repository of free and fee-based digital content that is searchable, educationally relevant and aligned to Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.

This website is a great place to get free worksheets. There is a quick link to quickworksheets.net that will take you to a site that you can produce your own worksheets according to what you are teaching.
