This resource would be great for anyone who has an interactive whiteboard or even computers in their classroom. Brainflips allows you to create flash cards for any content area. After creating the flash cards there are different "modes" that students can use to learn the content. What a great way to practice spelling words, math facts and so much more!

"Create a Rubric"

I love this site. I used this last year for classwork, homework and projects. One of the difficult parts of teaching is assuring that students are graded fairly on assignments. Grading projects is a snap with a good rubric. Not sure what to fill in to make a rubric, no problem. Rubristar has pre-made rubrics you can use. ;)

Thanks Tonga! I plan to use Prezi for the first time this weekend for one of my other courses. I like how a lot of resources out there are allowing users to save on their sites so that we don't have to carry our flashdrives around all the time and so others can collaborate with us! Nanoogo is an online e-portfolio. On this site students can create and share their ideas . This is a digital canvas that the students can share with classmates and parents. Parents can comment on students work. The site is currently free. It is recommended to sign on soon because they are considering charging a fee.
