Posting a message here will send a message out to any selected microblogs at once saving much time.

Dipity is a site that makes it simple for your students to create and share interactive timelines about any subject or topic. It allows students to embed YouTube videos, RSS feeds, Blogger, flickr, Picasa, music, and more right into their timelines. Very cool application to make teaching history a bit more interesting and interactive!

PicArtia is an online application that gives you the opportunity to create your own photo mosaics for free. You can use your own photos or download others from the web. PicArtia is free to use, however you can order high quality versions as well. HIgh quality prints start at $3. With MagToo, you can create free image presentations known as "MagShows," to display on your blog or on social network profiles like Facebook or Myspace. You can create a MagShow that is a Slide Show or a Panorama Show, and MagToo will even 'auto-stitch' photos together to create your panoramic image. Tikatok is a great site that allows children to turn their ideas into real, hardcover books. With this application, children (with the help of their parents) can post stories online for friends and others to read, and even print the tale for their bookshelf at home. Pros: Creat stories from scratch or get some help from the site, stories are stored on the site, read and comment on posted stories, upload/scan in pictures/illustrations Cons: n/a

TwitterFone is a great application for all of those Twitter users that allows them to dictate text messages via their mobile phone to be sent out to everyone on their Twitter social network. Users speak their message into their phone and it shows up as text on twitter. Pros: Ability to update Twitter from anywhere, easily turns voice to text Cons: occassional mistakes with voice to text translation, site is sometimes lagging

MediaMaster allows you to upload your entire music collection and iTunes playlists and listen from anywhere. You can stream your music from any web browser, listen to your music at work, publish it on your web site or share it with others. Pros: free service, ability to create playlists, rate songs, share music with others, and no limit to uploads. Cons: slow streaming, not sure how long it will be free, legal issues!
