    TwitterFone is a great application for all of those Twitter users that allows them to dictate text messages via their mobile phone to be sent out to everyone on their Twitter social network. Users speak their message into their phone and it shows up as text on twitter. Pros: Ability to update Twitter from anywhere, easily turns voice to text Cons: occassional mistakes with voice to text translation, site is sometimes lagging

By adjusting the sliders on the results page, you can give greater preference in the ranking to less popular Twitter users, or those who are near you. The algorithm is an item-to-item collaborative filter, somewhat similar to how Amazon makes recommendations.
