TweetCube allows Twitter users to share files, whether it be images, videos, music, or other with a few clicks of the mouse. \nTweetCube is completely free, however the maximum file size you can upload is 10mb. There is no limit to the amount of files you upload, however files are deleted after 30 days.

MagToo is an image widget application and portal site which allows users to create slide shows with a unique magnifier tool, and immersive 360 degree panorama style shows. Furthermore, users can share these on social network sites (Facebook, MySpace, etc.), as well as create virtual "travelogues" on Google maps.

Mapness is an online travel journal that provides users with a place to share their travel/vacation experiences. Mapness gives users the opportunity to pinpoint places they've visited on an online map and add photos and/or videos easily. With Mapness, you can follow someones trip, track your own trip, or go back and view a trip you took previously.

Bubbl.us is a FREE mind mapping application. It's similar to Kidspiration and Inspiration, but it is a Web 2.0 application. Kids can create and share projects. They can also work collaboratively on projects. Easy to use. Try this one out.

Combine photos, videos, audio and text to create scrapbooks. This is really cool if you are into sharing pictures in a fun way. I don't enjoy scrapbooking because of the tedious cutting/pasting, but I think I would enjoy this because it is virtual. This would be great for students to use when doing biographies.

It allows students to embed YouTube videos, RSS feeds, Blogger, flickr, Picasa, music, and more right into their timelines. Very cool application to make teaching history a bit more interesting and interactive!

I am going to try this application in my classes next year. I tried it for about a week. Added comments, content, and set up assignments. It seems to offer the basic class setup with some great FAQs and demos. It may be the answer to my questions about class wikis also...
