Haines on 08 Sep 13This research attempted to determine whether a learning style "match" between students and preceptors lead to improved learning outcomes (e.g. evaluation of student or preceptor performance). Most students and preceptors were "assimilators" (aka "thinkers") based on the PILS questionnaire. However, "matching" learning styles of preceptors and students didn't improve learning outcomes.
