This site outlines every aspect of planning pre-workshop activities from the venue to the expenditures. Essential processing is fostered by a suggestion of tools that can be used to introduce key concepts prior to training. In terms of generative processing, the site has suggestions for incorporating multimedia activities. This site would mainly be used by a person who is planning to present at a workshop. It would not be used for presentation purposes.

Edmodo will be used during the class to give the participants a hands-on approach to learning the tool. Participants will be engaged on a behavioral and cognitive level using this tool during the workshop as they begin to learn the different features of Edmodo. They will see how to set up a class, create assignments and quizzes through Edmodo, manage a gradebook and calendar, share documents and links, discover resources and apps, connect with other educators, as well as connect with parents. Edmodo also has training resources available that will be utilized during the workshop.

Participants will be using Cacoo in the class to organize their thoughts in a graphic organizer. They will be able to make a copy of a graphic organizer that was created through Cacoo as well as have access to the original. Participants will be able to edit and add information to their copy and the original will be filled out by the instructor compiling the different ideas shared during the workshop. The active learning that will take place would be both behavioral and cognitive. Behavioral learning will take place as they interact and add to the graphic organizer. Cognitive learning will take place as the participants generate ideas and organize them into their graphic organizer.

A tool for creating videos ~ collaboratively online. This is a very simple and easy to use online platform for video production. It integrates with other Google Apps for Education offerings. Easy to share and build together. It has a full feature video editor, music, and effects. Everything is stored online and all file formats are supported with instant posting and mobile accessibility. A great synchronous and asynchronous tool for multi-media learning. The active engagement required focuses on a cognitive activity. WeVideo is a video-editing program that allows users to edit based on their experience level. This site was chosen to meet the needs of participants of all expertise. Novices can simply arrange their videos and export, while advanced users can create transitions, composites, titles, and more.

Twitter is a social media site. Using such in the classroom has proven beneficial. As a teacher, I can remind students quickly about homework that is coming due soon or share a picture with them of something we did in class. It really allows a teacher to reach the students where they are. Although, I have learned not to read their tweets (they are sophomores in high school)!

This website includes pages of free online multimedia such as video sharing/editor, multimedia suite, and so forth.

Jing is a screencasting computer program which takes a picture of a computer screen and instantly provides it a URL and is uploaded to the web. It can then be shared instantly between collaborators. Jing offers capture, history, and more in the little transparent "sun" at the top of the screen. A free account can be set-up and software can be downloaded. This will provide the live presenter with opportunities for anytime essential screenshots for projection during the workshop. The screenshot will generate inquiry into the software programs.
