    -Glogster - http://edu.glogster.com/ can be used to embed text, photos, videos, graphics and more to engage and develop skills needed to understand social studies common core standards that will be presented in the workshop.
    It is an interactive poster that promotes independence and problems solving. It is multimedia tool is easy to use and understand. Glogster is also a safe learning environment that provides differential learning activities.
    Youtube or Schooltube - http://www.schooltube.com/ or http://www.youtube.com/ these site can be useful to introduce concepts that will be presented in the presentation. Both of these sites have many videos that are engaging and can develop participants' prior knowledge.

    The multimedia artifacts are considered active engaging websites that focus on behavioral or cognitive activity. The first is Khan Academy that has been featured on 60 minutes, CNN, PBS and other media. It has also been endorsed by many in the technology and education industry. The Khan Academy is a website that provides a world class education for learners' k-12 that is learner-centered. It is a free site that provides materials and resources to students, teachers, administrators and homeschoolers. The site has an extensive library on various subjects. The website presents interactive challenges and assessments that are stored and updated as you practice. The following site is ABCya another learner-centered website that uses educational games to enhance learning basic concepts to elementary level learners. The third website is LiveBinder that is technology-centered. LiveBinder allows teachers and students to store valuable information obtained and created on the computer in an interactive binder. You are able to collect, organize, access and share word documents, pdf files, videos, and links. LiveBinder is free for educators but is also available to professionals at a low-cost.
