Links to free online testing tools are just a few of the resources towards essential learning processes. Many subjects and levels of education are offered that can be used for authentic assessment. Criterion-referenced assessment and feedback is important and should focus on individualized learning and development for this multimedia project on UAV technology and applications.

As noted by Mayer (2009), authentic assessment implies that learners understand the presented material by attending to the relevant material, organize it into a coherent mental structure, and integrate it with their prior knowledge. It is a form of assessment in which students are asked to perform real-world tasks that demonstrate meaningful application of essential knowledge and skills. The Authentic Assessment Toolbox website is an excellent venue that offers tips for standards, tasks, rubrics, portfolios, examples, workshops and a glossary of terms. It may be accessed for to improve and implement essential learning because it identifies the characteristics, strengths and limitations of authentic assessment while comparing and contrasting it with a traditional (test-based) assessment.

Adobe Presenter software is a plug-in for Microsoft® PowerPoint and assists to easily convert PowerPoint slides into rich media presentations and eLearning content. Participants may add voice narrations or video, and create self-running presentations in addition to hosting online training for viewing. Additional features allow viewers to provide feedback, track the progress of the learners, and use forms for feedback, surveys, tests or interactive quizzes. Adobe Presenter 7 is a dynamic presentation software and permits learners to develop essential learning skill-sets via a variety of ways; collaboration, visual, auditory and creativity.

Liquid Point 1.0 LiquidPoint is a PowerPoint program that adds Stereoscopic 3D display, 3D model support, and many other features to an existing Powerpoint slideshow or presentation. Students may create and edit their projects in Powerpoint and display their presentation in LiquidPoint. This is as site that explains how to do more that the basics in Powerpoint. Affords the ability to search for "how to" issues for rapid resolution of presentation questions or design concerns. The use of Liquid Media will present opportunities to improve my presentation skills as well as the participants.

Spinscape is a Web based application that may be used to find, organize, and share information on any topic. Similar to Mind Mappers, Spinscape elevates the level of graphic organizers by affording opportunities to collaborate with people anywhere in real time. Students may visualize a myriad of information and search for data to pull into Spinscape.

Graphic organizers assist to plan and provide learning objectives and course expectations for learners. This site offers templates for Pyramid Notes, one, two and three-way Venn Diagrams, KWL charts, T-Charts, Card Guts and Discussion Card templates. This site affords essential learning by assisting students to create a framework towards structure and visible thinking processes to organize information, ideas and research on the multimedia project. Students can envision both the whole and parts of problems or issues with the learning content. Learners may extend their thinking profess by encouraging an in-depth thought about UAV technology and applications.

Participants can access and examine the explanation of a Moodle course demonstration for viewing. By offering participation in the multimedia workshop on UAV, instructors may simulate learning events and affords tutorials that enhance the educational experience. Simulations may be manipulated allowing new concepts to be more closely aligned with the course creations. Moodle offers demonstration courseware and this creates an interest in selecting this program for curriculum outlines via the use of resources and activities. Because essential learning fails to thrive when attention during the instructional period wanes, precautions to facilitate and direct the selection of viable resources is critical to appropriate learning resources. Mayer (2008) suggests that "people learn better from a narrated animation when they already know the names and characteristics of essential components', (pg. 760).

Prezi is a free site for creation of presentations using a zoomable canvas. Viewer can choose connections among information via the placement of items on the screen by clicking the computer mouse. User can choose many formatted templates via updates and improved versions. This is a free website that allows the user to create presentations using a zoomable canvas. This software allows the viewer to determine connections among information by placing certain material on the screen with the click of a mouse. Prezi has recently updated its resources to allow the user to choose from a variety of formatted templates. Essential processing is enhanced by affording opportunities for the learner to understand the big picture of the multimedia presentation. Learners may process information dependenat upon how they attend or select resoures during the multimedia workshop. Generative learning may be emphasized via linking concepts, information previous knowledge and perhaps experiences. Students seek opportunities to manipulate multimedia resources during the project.

This movie depicts multiple AL-UAV's performing an anti-surface warfare mission using the CBR and runtime-CNP architecture. During the mission, the command and control aircraft detects targets (indicated by circular regions in the display). As each target is detected, the command and control aircraft initiates an auction for a tracking task. The deployed AL-UAVs bid on the tasks and the highest bidder is assigned to investigate the target and track its movements. During mission execution, one of the AL-UAV fails and forces the team to adapt via task reallocation.
Multi AL-UAV ASW Mission

These two movies depict the generation of two coastal reconnaissance missions for teams consisting of one and three AL-UAVs using the CBR and premission-CNP system. The mission consists of three tasks: patrolling the southern portion of the coast, tracking any targets leaving from the pier, and patrolling the northern portion of the coast. In the single AL-UAV mission, the system generates a mission plan in which the tasks are performed in order, first examining the southern coast and reporting back any vessels found, then examining the pier area and tracking any vessels found, etc. In the multi AL-UAV mission, the CBR and premission-CNP system seamlessly generates an appropriate three AL-UAV mission to perform the required tasks. After deployment, each AL-UAV moves to the designated position and performs the task assigned at mission creation. While executing the mission, vessels that have been located but not identified are indicated by circular regions in the mission area.

This movie demonstrates the integration of a NAVAIR MURC control station with the robotic software toolset, MissionLab. In this demonstration, a mission is created where an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) navigates autonomously to a location where it participates in STANAG 4586 "vehicle discovery" and allows control to be handed over to a NAVAIR MURC control station. The MURC operator then tasks the vehicle to perform a patrol mission.

This movie demonstrates an anti-submarine warfare conducted by two AL-UAVs. In this mission, the AL-UAVs travel to predetermined waypoints. Once they have arrived at the waypoint, the AL-UAVs descend to low altitudes where they can use their magnetic anomaly detectors to search for submarines. If vessels are detected, they are then reported to the command and control aircraft.
