Some, teachers can make beforehand, while others are intended for students to create during lessons. The different formats available for graphic organizers align themselves to meet multiple needs.¬

This tool can be utilize to share informative presentations throughout the workshop. Voicethread is also going to be an option for teachers to use in their final product. The voicethread tool is free and user-friendly. Simply register for an account, upload images, complete your voice recording and publish.

I am using Voice Thread to introduce the use of the graphic organizer in my workshop. This will be helpful for essential processing as they begin to select the important information that will be presented in the workshop. I posted a copy of the graphic organizer and then used a microphone to record the directions for the participant. I also typed out and posted a written example of how they might begin to fill out the graphic organizer. My workshop participants will have a paper copy of the graphic organizer, but will also have a choice to post their ideas on the voice thread. I chose this site because it is easy to use and interactive. I want to provide a differentiated learning opportunity for my digital natives by using an interactive webtool as opposed to paper pencil, which may be more appealing to my digital immigrant participants.

Teacher vision has many activities at your fingertips that are ready to print out. I use the site to look for various graphic organizers to create handouts for students. It is effective because I do not have to reinvent the wheel and most of the graphic organizers work well with what I teach.

The basic site is free but to access more features you have to pay.Videos can be embedded into the interactive posters as well as links. Once a Glog is created the Glog can be embedded into wikis,blogs, twitter, Facebook, and presentations. Glogs can also be emailed.Glogs can be used to integrate and organize information to be presented and allows the creator to creatively present and organize their information.

One type of assessment tool that can be used to archive, organize, and showcase authentic assessments is an ePortfolio. Foliospaces provides users with a space to develop a comprehensive digital portfolio. ePortfolios can be help students engage in essential and generative learning by assembling authentic products of learning and organizing them into cohesive representations of their learning. This website provides a free space for developing an ePortfolio. In addition, the website allows for the opportunity to share information with others through social networking.

Exploratree is an amazing graphic organization creation site. There are many templates to begin with and is extremely easy to use. The site is free and has the ability to present and print the organizers. I prefer this site for creation of organizers over mind mapping tools.
