This is a free downloadable program that is used for creating mind maps for many kinds of uses. This site has links for downloading, questions, screenshots, and a page to explore Freemind. It is easy to naviaget and fnd the information that is needed to determine if this program will meet the intended needs of the user.

Even though this information is provided through Wikipedia, other sites didn't provide the descriptive graphics that this site did. A complaint would be too much information and too many links equating to extraneous processing overload.

For my professional development multimedia workshop, my goal is to develop a training program about using Google Apps (Google Docs, in particular). The targeted audience is a group of K-12 classroom teachers. The workshop will help to familiarize teachers with how Google Docs is used as well as provide them with an opportunity to begin developing a Google Docs that they can use in the classroom. This website is supported by the Juniata College and provides a wide range of multimedia information, tutorials, and guides for using various Google applications.

Embed collage into wikis, blogs, or websites. You can also copy your creation into a powerpoint. Easy to use. Free download so you can work when not online.

The wiki is an online platform that provides a space to house my multimedia project. It provides both essential and generative learning for workshop participants. I decide to use wikispace because I am very familiar with the site, it's free and easy for student to navigate.
