Wiki of thousands of educational resources. Some are a bit esoteric, included is learning theories - with multimedia links which is nice for us edtech geeks.

I have chosen this workshop because it incorporates many of the core principles of multimedia design for the corporate world as well as the educational arena. In addition, the tools that are introduced in the presentation are accessibility-friendly.

Wordle is a great site for creating pre-training activities that will inspire participants to learn. The activities will be used for essential learning because it givse participants a starting point for learning. I would use this site because it catches the learning attention while provide meaningful learning.

XMind is a Web 2.0 Open Source tool in which you can create mind maps. You can insert your own pictures, change colors of each heading, and even add a background. Visually appealing since you can add a background and your own pictures.

This site is at the essential cognitive level, providing an overview of the terms, functions, and processes involved in using Inspiration software (or mywebspiration.com). The site, which is apparently a workshop plan, is plain-looking but effective. Functions in Inspiration are broken down into discrete links, allowing for user-controlled navigation. Each offers a very simple text tutorial, accompanied by a static or animated graphic.

This website will allow the learners to become familiar with the tool they will be using to add voice to their presentation. This website offers tutorials and activities that allow them to become familiar with the features Audacity offers.

This websites provides the learner to create their own book using pictures captured from Flickr. I like the fact that the learner can create an educational book or personal book of their own topic.

M62 is a corporate website that offers everything about presentations based on their success of creating presentations. Some of their customers are BP, Hilton, CISCO, Citigroup, Microsoft, and Sony. I think their statement on the home page sums it up: "It's not just what you say in the presentation that counts, it's what they pay attention to and what they remember that makes the difference"
