Chirbit is a useful and fun tool that enables you to record,upload and share your voice or audio files easily. Record your voice using a webcam or microphone conected to your computer, or upload an existing audio file. You can then share your chirbit, on twitter, facebook, email, your blog, or smartphone.

Not sure if you have already seen this in the past, but this has been a lifesaver for me over the past 2 years. You upload a file, set the width, height, printing, downloading and privacy options and then copy the code the site generates for you. This then allows you to embed the code into any other website as HTML. Once embedded, you can zoom in and out, print and download. My favourite feature is the 'Full screen' button in the bottom right hand corner which enlarges the document so even the weariest of eyes can read it online. You should never really have to print them out at all. Running a Learning Management System means you want to be able to share documents, PDFs, etc but not necessarily have to download them and then open them. This has helped keep our parent community happy as it cuts out another two steps when accessing their newsletter online, and it has come in really handy for ePortfolios. With the release of the Ultranet in all Victorian schools, this type of tool will become even more valuable.

Embedit.in allows you to upload documents and gives you the embed code to put it into a website.

FileDropper.com is another online file storage. The files are kept forever as long as they are being downloaded. If the files are not downloaded even once within 30 days consecutively they are removed. If you have a premium account your files are never deleted. Maximum upload is 5Mb.

Droplr Desktop is a tiny application for Mac OS X that aims at helping people share things easier. Droplr Desktop allows you to upload things to Droplr by either drag&drop on the menubar icon, drag&drop on the dock icon or using a system-wide keyboard key combination. conjunction with Explain Everything, students now have the ability to publish blog posts through their existing Evernote account that can include customized images, graphics or posters. One of my favorite uses for Explain Everything is to create graphics by using the cropping image & text feature. Once the graphic is created, it can either be exported to the camera roll or uploaded directly to Evernote. Once the image is included in the Evernote note that is tagged with "published", the blog post will appear on the Postach.io blog with the custom image. (If publishing directly from Explain Everything to Evernote, remember to go into the note and add the "published" tag word).

This brand-spanking-new site aims to provide an uncommonly inviting place to teach and be taught. Instructors can upload video on any subject - be it salsa dancing or making glogg - then divvy it into lessons. Unlike YouTube, Curious lets teachers choose to charge for lessons, features an oversized playback window and generally feels friendly and constructive. There are no creepy comments from anonymous YouTubers here, and the site's proprietors currently approve teachers and eyeball content to ensure that these online classes are, well, classy.

The Unofficial Google Image Search by Drawing tool provides you with a drawing space and some simple drawing tools to create a sketch. When your sketch is complete just click "search by drawing" and you'll be sent to the Google Image search results that best match your drawing. The Unofficial Google Image Search by Drawing tool can also be used to upload and draw on an image that you have stored on your computer. If you want to search for pictures of yourself or pictures of people that look like you, you can use your webcam to take a picture of yourself and search through the Unofficial Google Image Search by Drawing tool.
