Vanpool Vanpool Seat Finder Start End Register Now Already Registered Vanpools are a good choice for groups of commuters who live and work near each other and travel more than 15 miles to work one-way. Passengers split a low monthly fare, and share a van that can range from a minivan seating 7 up to a full size van seating 15. Vanpool is a partnership between DRCOG and the Regional Transportation District (RTD). RideArrangers contracts with VPSI to manage its Vanpool program. If you would like fare information, have five or more people who wish to start a new vanpool, or have questions, contact Nick Sands or Corey Taylor at 303-333-3640 or email nick.sands@vpsiinc.com or corey.taylor@vpsiinc.com. Want to join an existing vanpool? Click here to register. There are over 70 vanpools around the Denver Region, call or register today to see which routes might work for you. How vanpool works: A group of 5 to 15 people share a ride to work in a van dedicated to their commute, for a monthly fare based on commuting distance. The monthly fare and fuel are split among the passengers in the van. All vans commuting within the RTD district receive a subsidy to reduce the total fare. Vanpool riders volunteer to drive, track maintenance, submit paperwork and collect fares. Volunteer vanpool drivers must be at least 25 years of age, pass a motor vehicle check, and sign a driver agreement. Approved drivers are covered under VPSI insurance. The program provides the van, maintenance and repairs, insurance, fuel, bike racks and the Guaranteed Ride Home. Vanpool Documents: If you have already registered and have 5 or more people ready to vanpool, please click here for the vanpool documents. Need to make a payment? A Guidebook for Sustainability Performance Measurement for Transportation Agencies TRB's National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Report 708: A Guidebook for Sustainability Performance Measurement for Transportation Agencies describes the underlying principles of sustainability as it relates to transportation, possible goals that can be used to address those principles, and performance measures that can be used to address those goals. Aspects of sustainability-related performance measures, including data sources and examples of use, are discussed. A reference compendium of performance measures has also been provided. In addition to the guidebook, the contractor's project Final Report that contains the results of the literature review, surveys of the state of the practice, case study interviews, detail on research methodology and findings, and a discussion of future research needs is available on the NCHRP Project 08-74 website. A CD-ROM, included in the print version of the guidebook, contains an Excel-spreadsheet-based version of the performance measures compendium located in Appendix B of the guidebook. The spreadsheet allows the existing measures to be modified, and macros enable the user to generate and export a custom list of measures. Instructions for using the spreadsheet are found in Appendix C. The CD-ROM is also available for download from TRB's website as an ISO image. Links to the ISO image and instructions for burning a CD-ROM from an ISO image are provided below. commuter websitesEntradax Jeffrey Chernick jeff@rideamigos.com por lists.cutr.usf.edu 21:00 (19 horas atrás) para Transp-tdm, Transp-tdm Hi all! Here is the site we have built and currently manage for the Century City TMO in Los Angeles, CA: Screenshots: Homepage; SearchWebsite: www.Commute90067.com As compared to most commuter sites, its multi-modal trip planner compares all forms of transportation - walking, biking, driving, public transit, and carpooling/vanpooling options, all sorted by company, building, and region. Each choice displays the cost - time - CO2 - health benefit analysis of each mode, educating the user on the most effective mode for their specific commute. The system is complimented by a personal commute dashboard, which tracks, manages, and records these trips for commuters, employers, and municipalities, an incentive module for monthly competitions, and AQMD/LEED survey modules. Within four months of the site's launch, 40 companies representing over 4,100 employees were registered. After only six months in operation, the platform showed a 35 percent reduction in solo drivers participating in the program, and a 44 percent reduction after ten months. It also displayed an impressive increase in all alternative modes of transportation (e.g., walking/ biking/ carpool); with walking trips boasting nearly a 170 percent increase over a 10 month period.
