This is the "end to slideshows." This website is very useful, but there is a few if you want them to create a video that is longer than 30 seconds.

With this site you can paint, draw, edit photos, put artwork on your blog or website using the art player, and create graffiti. There are activities that children of all ages can take part in, but this site would seem to benefit older children more than younger children. However, younger children could paint and draw on this site. This site is easy to navigate and it's free.

Yonkly - 1 views

Yonkly is a resource very similar to Twitter. To quote from its website it "allows you to create a white-label microblog community that is fully customizable". This resource would allow someone to keep up with the user of Yonkly. It's extremely easy to navigate, and while complicated when you read into all the technical aspects of it (like I did), it really is a good alternative tool for social networking.

Webstarts - 0 views

Webstarts allows users to create a webpage for sharing photos, videos, and information. A classroom teacher could create a class webpage that parents can access, increasing the parents' classroom involvement. My favorite part of this website is that there are preloaded templates to make designing a page simpler. One option even looks like a page from a scrapbook, allowing the teacher to make a "scrapbook" of her class.

This is a collaborative document creation website mainly used for groups collaborating on mission statements, news articles, press releases, product reviews, petitions, etc. Most documents on this site are related to politics. It would not be appropriate to use in a classroom setting or with children. However, it would be a good tool for parents or teachers to use if they are concerned about a children's product, some type of legislation, or a community issue related to education.

Thecolor.com - Online coloring - 4 views

  •
Thecolor.com is a website that has hundreds of online coloring pages available for children. The coloring pages are separated into different categories. Some of these categories include alphabet, animals, holidays, insects, and pets. After students finish their coloring creations, they can save them into their own personal gallery and also print them off of the computer.
  •
Even though coloring sheets aren't generally the most creative activity, this could be a good site for children who need practice manipulating the mouse because they can use mouse clicks to color a picture.

This is a collaborative document site that allows any number of collaborators to access their documents from any computer and will remind you of changes made. The website has many ofher useful features. You could use this tool in any number of ways. Students could use this site, but younger students would need some help and guidance.

The Family Center on Technology and Disability-Assistive Technology - 0 views

  •
Very interesting website, with links to specific disabilities and how to incorporate assistive technology. There are some nice links for families, to understanding the law about assistive technology, transition, and how it applies to their child. What I particularly liked was that the information covers the lifespan.
