    This is really awesome! I love how kids who are hospitalized would be able to stay connected with friends and with their classroom! I never thought that blogging could be used in this way.

    Speaking from personal experience, I know that blogging websites like CarePages and CaringBridge can make a huge difference in the lives of families with hospitalized children. For an ill child to keep in touch with their peers and family, this blog is instrumental! Even a little contact with the "outside world" can make such a wonderful difference in the life of an ill child.

    I know a few different families from my high school and church that have used CarePages to keep people updated about how their child was doing. This is a wonderful way for the family to share with people even when they are busy, overwhelmed, tired, etc. because it is less intrusive that having people call all the time and have to explain things over and over again. It has been a tremendous blessing and lifted some pressure off of families I know.
    It would be a wonderful way for class to follow a classmate who is hospitalized, keep in touch with them, and learn about whatever is going on.
