Upworthy.com - 1 views

"Upworthy runs on a simple mantra: sharing is caring. Barely a year old, it's already a leader in a crowded community of social news sites, bringing attention to content that's inspirational (watch a news anchor fight back against a bully who called her fat) and very shareable (see a waitress get a $500 tip). Its deceptively simple design emphasizes well-written headlines, the content itself and sharing options, creating a powerful viral effect. Just try and resist its siren call."

For students, the "make it simple" part means they won't come to you with millions of "how to" questions. For teachers, the "make it beautiful" part means that it will be neat and efficient to assess.

Yes, being able to use presentation media this way should be very handy.

While the themes are limited, it gives you many of the same abilities as Microsoft's PowerPoint software application. It allows you to add videos, pictures, custom shapes and text boxes. Also, you can create notes and change the layouts of the presentation itself. It makes importing files simple and gives easy access to the presntation you create anywhere as long as you have a computer and internet connection. Along with all of this, you do not have to download any programs or applications to use, just log into the site and access your saved presentations. Though, PowerPoint definitely has more features, for its easy accessability and presentation creation tools, this is a great web application to use.
