This would be a nice feature when teachers/districts have to follow strict CIPA guidelines. A lot of blogs/wiki's have this function where everything has to be viewed by an administrator/teacher before it gets posted.

This at least would be one work around to prevent swearing/bullying, etc. Ideally, a built in filter would be nice but I know how much of a "battle" that is.

The only thing I found to allow filtered email/blogging/discussion boards is gaggle.net.

Is there anyway to create a filter on Diigo? In my district they are very strict about following CIPA compliance so no swearing/cyber bullying take place.

While students are monitored what prevents them from actually posting inappropriate things before they get taken down.

For example, you might have a student swearing in a forum or on a site review and it might go un-noticed for awhile before a teacher notices and removes. Or does everything have to be approved first before being posted online?
