This would be a nice feature when teachers/districts have to follow strict CIPA guidelines. A lot of blogs/wiki's have this function where everything has to be viewed by an administrator/teacher before it gets posted.
This at least would be one work around to prevent swearing/bullying, etc. Ideally, a built in filter would be nice but I know how much of a "battle" that is.
The only thing I found to allow filtered email/blogging/discussion boards is gaggle.net.
David, I think Gaggle.net is the only one that has email/blogging/discussion boards and allows the administrator to filter. Have you used it with success? I am looking for a wiki that does the same thing. RM Education has a product called Honeycomb that is a private collaboration space for students that includes blogs and wikis. http://www.rmeducation.com/honeycomb
