Don't know how many of these are still around since 2008 but here's some other online presentation options besides Prezi. They'd make good digital literacy labs.

A librarian-hosted wiki about digital research tools. Looks like it mostly was produced around 2008 but still has much useful info, including categories of tools and reviews of these.

So, I just used this for my blog: http://tamesequels.blogspot.com, and will shortly be posting a digital literacy lab for this. Basically, if you want to put a blog feed as a widget on another blog, you can customize one for free on this website. It's really easy and it gives you a code at the end of the customization to post. Check out my blog to see one. It's the "My Photography" section, and you'll see how it posts everything from that blog really nicely. A great tool for making your website alive.

If you want to look deeper into any meaning that can be derived from this website, it would be that I found this website by doing the following: I looked on the digital literacy labs page, I clicked on the Create labs, I clicked the link to Slideshare.net, I looked at the top presentations which was done by a Heidi Miller, I followed Heidi Miller, looked at her profile, went to her blog, read some then scrolled down far enough and found this sweet gem of the internet.

This website should be a part of everyone's digital literacy. Rip the audio from Youtube videos with no viruses. I can't count how many times I've used it (legally). It's a great little website and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

This is a fantastic video!  This guy put computers in India and they just taught themselves how to use them, even to the extent of learning English!  One group of kids learned how to record their own music after only four hours with a computer!  fabulous
