      This is so awesome!  I tried it out already.  I have a Google voice phone number.  My wife called it, left a voice message and then the message was transcribed and send to me via text.  I could also access it online!

      which is why TypeWell which expands words when you type all the consonants is so much easier to remember. Plus you can program your own abbreviations. It' makes mroe sense for the general public. And how are Deaf/ HoH people supposed to learn the phonetic system of what to them is a foreign language? That seems a bit short sighted to me.

      Rhapsody is awesome, but you should look into grooveshark.com. It follows the 'freemium' model discussed in class and has advertisements but I would like to hear what other people's experience is with it or any insights to how they make money.
  • Imagine if prices declined the further you went down the Tail, with popularity (the market) effectively dictating pricing. All it would take is for the labels to lower the wholesale price for the vast majority of their content not in heavy rotation; even a two- or three-tiered pricing structure could work wonders. And because so much of that content is not available in record stores, the risk of channel conflict is greatly diminished. The lesson: Pull consumers down the tail with lower prices.

      I feel like one of the reasons for this is because there is so much required of individuals.Whether it is our jobs or our education, we have to work constantly in order to survive. There is little or no leisure time until you have earned it. Would it be possible to live in a type of economic system that would allow each individual the ability to choose based on their own judgement of when to do work for others and when to do work for himself? That would be awesome!

    So, I just used this for my blog: http://tamesequels.blogspot.com, and will shortly be posting a digital literacy lab for this. Basically, if you want to put a blog feed as a widget on another blog, you can customize one for free on this website. It's really easy and it gives you a code at the end of the customization to post. Check out my blog to see one. It's the "My Photography" section, and you'll see how it posts everything from that blog really nicely. A great tool for making your website alive.
