    Slavery in its most well-known form has been abolished, but contemporary slavery (including forced labor, domestic servitude, and sexual slavery) lives on throughout the world. The majority of people who suffer from contemporary slavery are of the poorest and most vulnerable groups within our society.

    There is a clear definition of slavery. It is a bit disconcerting to see slavery characterized and "contemporary" or "traditional". This type of demarkation implies one is better than the other. It may lead a listener or reader to ascertain there is a softer less denigrating type of slavery. Does anyone really believe this? Slavery in all forms should be ended. Period.

    It saddens me that this is an issue. I wish people did not do this to other people-- essentially taking away their rights and freedoms along with messing with the person emotionally, physically, mentally, and so much more. I really do not understand the mindset of the people that are condoning sex trafficking or even just looking the other way when this is such a dilemma all around the world.
