    Website first tells the story of a man named Matthew Donnelly who developed skin cancer and his brother that was tried for murder after shooting his brother despite Matthew wanting to die. It then goes into why assisted suicide should be allowed and then why it should not be. Finally, it brings up a good point that assisting in the death of someone might violate the beliefs of those that might be required to assist.

    This website states the opinions of those who support physician assisted suicide as well as those who oppose it. This is a social justice issue because a patient who is very ill and suffering should have the right to physician assisted suicide.

    I have also found this topic interesting and very controversial. I have to say I'm on the fence here because as a healthcare worker, I do see some very sad situations within patients and their families. However, if someone is so sick to where they would want to end their life it is hard to say if they're in the right mind to make a decision like that.

    Physician Assisted suicide should be treated like abortion from my prospective. It should be heavily considered and heavily regulated and substantial counseling should go into leading up to the event itself. One thing to consider if you refuse someone to go out on their own terms, is they may find another way which may not result in a peacful passing for them.

    I think that this topic of Physician-Assisted Suicide takes the topic of suicide that we find extremely tragic and makes it okay. This idea of allowing people the choice to die with the assistance of a physician is just as tragic as people committing suicide.

    If someone is very ill and there is nothing that anyone can do to help they should have the right end there own lives. It's horrible having to live long days, suffering and waiting for your life to end.

    The site gives the information of the four states that have legalized physician assisted suicide. Each state has their own restriction and guidelines when PAS is accepted. The legal age is usually 18 except in the case of Montana where no legal protocol have been put into place. In the other 46 states and DC it is illegal and usually considered as manslaughter or second degree murder.
