What about the 'Rising Sun' uniforms? What About Japan's Nazi Flags at the Olympics?

Since the Rising Sun symbol's the imperialism of Japan does that mean it is offensive to the other Asian nations?

An attack in Iraq killed at least 20 and more than 35 were wounded when a suicide car bomber and gunmen dressed in police uniforms attacked the police headquarters in Iraq on Sunday. 

Does it make you thankful that you do not have to worry about this at all? Our lives are so protected and yet these types of horrific events happen all around the world quite frequently.

This is an interesting article for all you students who have parents who may be tempted in "overparenting." I am sure none of your parents do this but sometimes it can actually be detrimental to you when your parents help you with everything. Oftentimes, defending our mistakes will hurt us when owning up to our mistakes will improve our character.  Failing should be motivation not pity. 

This year is the highest price for on-air commercial time during the super bowl. 3.8 million dollars is quite the fee for only 30seconds of air time. How can 30 seconds of air time make that much of differnce to customers that will buy into the ads. Personally i dont think they profit to much from it.

This story is actually hilarious. A few homeless men were doing a car wash together and 2 of them engaged in a brawl which ended with a man now with out a nose and the other man now serves 15 years in a state prison!

Snowmobiler Caleb Moore who was hurt in a snowmobile crash during the X Games, died on Thursday morning. Caleb was attempting a backflip when the skis of his snowmobile caught on the lip of the jump. This sent him flying over the handlebars and the snowmobile then landed on him.

A Fort Hood soldier has said he shot his friend accidentally while he was trying to scare his hiccups away. He claims he thought the gun had dummy rounds in it, so he used it on his friend to make his hiccups stop. He ended up killing the guy...

At the oil company headquarters there was a huge explosion. There is a reported 14 people killed and 80 people injured. The shock of the blast was felt three blocks away and shattered windows in the neighboring buildings.

When it comes to last years superbowl commercials, we all saw them down here. The Canadians on the other hand are just finding out about them this year. So the people that live closest to the border, have been rigging up some very old antennas to tap into our airways just to catch all of the awesome commercials. Most could care less about the actual game.

A 9 year old girl from Illinois saved her mom when she started to have a diabetic attack, while she was driving over 70 mph. They were on their way to a fast food restaurant after a basketball game when 42 yr old Jennifer Sheridan had a attack when her blood sugar dropped rapidly. The little girl was screaming and crying but knew that if she kept on talking to her mom, she would somehow get help and she would be fine.

Earlier this month, Barbara Walters was in the hospital with chicken pox. 82 years old, she has been advised to rest and have no visitors while she was in the hospital. She is recovering great sayd doctors and she is in great health!

Apparently their is a dietary supplement that will help the growth of your muscles. But is it illegal? It is a African plant and the athletes are using it.

An eleven year old boy in Spain did not have very good grades the past couple weeks. So in order for his parents not to meet his teacher, he faked being kidnapped. He sent a text message to his father, who is a police officer, saying he had been put in a car and was being driven somewhere. After many measures were taken to find the boy, his father found him in their other apartment. Thankfully for the boy the police station has not pressed charges.

Scientists have been working on cracking the DNA code for a long time. Sixty years ago when they described the chemical code of life, who knew sixty years later they would find a new four-stranded type of DNA found in the double helix of DNA. This new discovery is called a G-quadruplex. This new discovery really shows us how amazing God is, and very creative.

Not only is President Obama failing this country (even more now in his seecond term), but now he almost fails to kill and very brave and persistent fly. Poor thing lost in the end, but i have respect for the little guy :) hahahaha

North Korean agenda explicitly stating the USA as their main enemy. North Korea also plans on continuing to test its missile program along with furthering tests to go nuclear.  I think it's interesting that they would actually come out and say these things. Before North Korea was always aggressive but for the most part kept to themselves. If I were them I would not want to make the USA angry. Look at history, you don't want to awake the sleeping giant or the giant who is busy somewhere else.
