A 200 pound female black bear climbed up a tree in Colorado Springs. Because the area was quite populated, animal control and the police wanted to get her down to relocate her. Their first attempt to sedate her with a dart was unseccussful and caused her to climb even higher. Although the second dart was right on mark. Almost five hours after she was found firefighters used a tall ladder truck to get her down off of the tree.

Sixty years ago when they described the chemical code of life, who knew sixty years later they would find a new four-stranded type of DNA found in the double helix of DNA. This new discovery is called a G-quadruplex. This new discovery really shows us how amazing God is, and very creative.
At the Smithsonian's National Zoo, they are now using iPads to keep the orangutans occupied. A zookeeper states "... the iPad offers another way to engage their sight, touch, and hearing." These iPads were provided by Apps for Apes, who have apparently already provided these tablets for 12 other zoos.
