"Higher education is rapidly changing: As demographics change, as the nature of the contemporary student changes and as technology makes a greater impact, colleges and universities are
adapting to serve students. EducationDynamics plays a crucial role.
We help each institution reach potential students, to let them know what the institution offers - and we provide information that helps the institution tailor its programs and services to meet the needs of these potential students. We currently help more than 1200 colleges and universities - not-for-profit, for-profit, traditional, online, private, public, large and small - find, enroll and retain students. In size and scope, we are the number
one provider of marketing support services to post-secondary education.
We believe that by serving students first, we serve our schools
best. Hence we help students - part-time adults and full-time undergraduates - find the undergraduate, graduate or continuing education, in classroom or online, that is right for them."

"United Prosperity is a non-profit organization that helps you combat extreme global poverty powerfully by multiplying the impact of your money through loan guarantees. We are the world's first person to person loan guaranteeing website. There are small entrepreneurs all over the world who cannot afford to start and grow their business alone. Expanding their business may be the only means to adequately feeding their family or sending their children to school. However, banks do not lend to them without collateral, and that's where you come in! You can become a compassionate social guarantor with United Prosperity by providing an interest-free cash collateral or guarantee for an entrepreneur on our website. No minimum amount is required, and you are able to choose which entrepreneurs you would like to support. We maximize the impact of your dollar: For every $1 you put toward a guarantee, you will allow nearly $2 or more in microloan to the entrepreneur from local banks either directly or through our partners . Better yet, you will be able to track your chosen entrepreneur's progress, and when they repay their loan, you will be repaid in full! At that point you will have the opportunity to support another entrepreneur if you wish."

"GAFIS seeks to support development and rollout of useful formal savings products for poor households in developing countries. It aims to encourage more than an occasional quick touch between the poor and the formal financial system; it attempts to catalyze deeper and more intensive usage of financial products and services and, in particular, to enhance the usefulness of savings products. We hypothesize that a more useful savings product for the customer will indeed be used more and, ultimately, become a more sustainable/ profitable proposition for the financial institution."

"My Wonderful World is a National Geographic-led campaign-backed by a coalition of national business and non-profit organizations -to expand geographic learning in school, at home, and in communities. We want to give kids the power of global knowledge. Since the campaign launched, more than 80,000 people like you have signed up to show their support.
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
Geography is more than places on a map. It's global
connections. People and cultures. Economics and environments. Our young people need to know geography in order to understand today's world-and succeed in tomorrow's. But they're not getting enough of it, in or out of
school.
A National Geographic-Roper survey shows half of young Americans can't locate world powers like Japan and India. Twenty percent can't even find the Pacific Ocean. Without geography, our children aren't ready for the world. With your
help, we can make geography education a priority. Kids who understand our world today can succeed in it tomorrow.
"The Zinn Education Project promotes and supports the use of
Howard Zinn's best-selling book
A People's History of the United States and other materials for teaching a people's history in middle and high school classrooms across the country. The Zinn Education Project is coordinated by two non-profit organizations, Rethinking Schools and Teaching for Change.
Its goal is to introduce students to a more accurate, complex, and engaging understanding of United States history than is found in traditional textbooks and curricula. The empowering potential of studying U.S. history is often lost in a textbook-driven trivial pursuit of names and dates. Zinn's A People's
History of the United States emphasizes the role of working people, women, people of color, and organized social movements in shaping history. Students learn that history is made not by a few heroic individuals, but instead by
people's choices and actions, thereby also learning that their own choices and actions matter.
We believe that through taking a more engaging and more honest look at the past, we can help equip students with the analytical tools to make sense of - and improve - the world today.
For a more complete description, read the PDF
A People's History, A People's Pedagogy
.
In 2008, with support from an anonymous donor, the Zinn Education Project distributed 4,000 free packets for teaching people's history to educators across the country. In a follow-up survey, the recipients requested more resources, which led to the creation of this upgraded website to provide teaching materials online. Read the fullreport (in PDF) on the distribution of the 4,000 packets here."
