I was reminded of Jim Klein's Linux image for netbooks that helps run a faster netbook and is LOADED with 60 educational apps, including Open Office. Installation of image is done with a USB key and takes 4min.20 seconds Lots to consider.

Check out this great use of Livebinders to help students add content to a curriculum. This teacher did it with 3rd graders...me thinks older students could do even more with it. Great collaborative application and think of the possibilities for PBL.
Simple way to cut only the part of a YouTube video you want others to see. Can't download the edited video, but you can share them with a URL by FB, Twitter, etc. or embed it on a website or blog.. Nice tool!
