For those that get email from school email clients or Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., it's nice to consolidate them into Gmail, which has great functionality.

I tried out this free screen capturing software (with audio) and I can see this is something I may want to use for quick tutorials. Exports video in .mp4, .avi, .flv, formats and assists in uploading to YouTube or to your computer. The pro version gives you the ability to edit, etc. and is only $12 a year. Try this app out!

KhanAcademy Video tutorials in a variety of subjects

Interactive video tutorials in math & science - FREE accounts for teachers. Teachers can use them as part of a lesson to engage students.

Step by step tutorial on how to get started with blogging by Sue Waters of Edublogs. Sue is part of my PLN and is my go to person when I have questions about blogging. She's wonderful!

Glogster is a great tool for having students create collages of information they've found and or created. Students can combine videos, images, text, and audio into one online display that can stand alone or be embedded into a blog, website, or wiki. For example, Civics students can create Glogster "glogs" about the candidates running for political office this fall.

This app gives the ability to turn your iPad into a personal IWB! Allows you to record voice-over whiteboard tutorials and share them online. You can also drop images from your photo library and write on/around them. To see examples, go to ShowMeApp.com. Makes me wish I had an iPad2 to try it out :)
