Gmail, meet Google Drive -- and behold 10GB file transfers - 0 views

Now you can send files up to 10GB from Google Drive in the new compose mode in Google Mail (Gmail). This is a huge plus for sharing large files with others without having to use Dropbox, Box.net, etc. that have file size limitations (Free versions).

BayFiles - 0 views

Bay Files, like many similar services, allows you to upload a file for quick and easy sharing. When you upload a file to Bay Files, Bay Files generates a series of download links that you can give to the people you want to access your files. So instead of sending an email with a big file attachment you can just direct people to the download link associated with your file.

Dushare - Real-time P2P file transfers - 0 views

Dushare is an incredibly easy way to share files. Dushare lets you transfer files via a web browser as fast as you can upload. The site could not be easier to use, just pick your file, decide if you want it password protected to download, and then share the file. Dushare requires NO login or registration, it really is simple to use! I like that the URL for sharing is very short. This is for quick sending of files, and unlike Drop.io or Dropbox, doesn't store a group of files.

This is an amazing solution for storing, sharing, and back up your data. The ability to access files from any computer & mobile devices makes this a great solution. Up to 2GB storage free! Learn more about the public folder to share files with others, while keeping your other files private. I have it on both my Apple computers and on two PCs. This rocks!

Use DropBox to collect student work - 0 views

  •
All three services offer a fantastic way to allow your students to send their digital work directly to your Dropbox folder for collection. If you're looking for something incredibly quick and simple, DropItTo.me would be the way to go. If you'd like to specify the folder that your files are sent to, then FileStork.net would be your choice. If you would like an embeddable, completely customizable form for your students to upload their work, then JotForm is for you.

SimpleShare is a Mac and Windows based app for sharing files, screenshots and screencasts across the box.net cloud storage system. We've shown you a simple hack for direct right-click in Windows uploading before, but this new free app makes the process even simpler. Best of all it's available for both Windows and Mac, and it's a joy to use.
