Some cool tools to edit video online - some will allow downloading in different formats after the editing is completed. This makes it easy then to upload into Prezis, Schooltube, or Google Docs, and then share the videos.

Simple way to cut only the part of a YouTube video you want others to see. Can't download the edited video, but you can share them with a URL by FB, Twitter, etc. or embed it on a website or blog.. Nice tool!

Fantastic guide & tutorial on how to make videos on the web, provided by Richard Byrne, Free Technology for Teachers. Good review of Jaycut and the features from someone who has used the app. Another example of how students can leverage powerful tools without having it reside on a local computer/server. 

I tried out this free screen capturing software (with audio) and I can see this is something I may want to use for quick tutorials. Exports video in .mp4, .avi, .flv, formats and assists in uploading to YouTube or to your computer. The pro version gives you the ability to edit, etc. and is only $12 a year. Try this app out!
